We were taken here by a Japanese friend fur dinner. The meal of sushi , tempura and shabu shabu was excellent. The beef was nicely marbled to at least a grade 6/7 and succulent in the clear broth. The assorted sushi was delicious to to the piece for several of us. Those who had the mixed tempura could not have... More

We reserved the entire restaurant for a large group. The food and service were very pedestrian with limited choices, lots of confusion, poor service and generally very very disappointing. The view was about the only thing that was worth saying anything nice about.

We ate at Hagoromo our first night in Tokyo, and absolutely loved in. We sat at the sushi bar and got omakase. The chef we had was great, and assembled the pieces with such attention to detail and care. And then the fish! So fresh, so delicious... we've been to a lot of sushi restaurants in the U.S. (well, mainly... More

Housed in the wedding centre Meijikeinan, this restaurant has a general seating area, as well as special rooms for teppanyaki and tempura. I've seen plenty of the former, but the latter is rare and interesting We were in the general and the set menus include sashimi, beef and bento. My sushi set was good. My friend had the more expensive... More

You can enjoy high level of Sushi, Tempura and Teppanyaki at this restaurant. You can order ala carte or from dozen or so set menus. I had a steak set and my father had sushi set. Beef was very tender domestic Wagyu beef. Beef portion was 100g, I guess too much of good stuff is not good for you. Sushi... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
