Talk about a wonderful dining experience. I was fortunate enough to be treated to my best meal in Japan for this trip by my friend and his family. The restaurant sits on the top floor of the Tokyo Westin. Boasting beautiful views, classy interiors with a very cozy feel. Our Private teppanyaki room was spacious and allowed us to really... More

This place has everything you will be looking for in a teppanyaki place. From the cook, the teppan (hot steel plate they use to cook), the servers in kimono, and great wagyu. The view is icing on the cake. Pricey but worth it.

Teppan Yaki comes in all shapes and sizes, YEBISU serves one of the better version, but the cost is quite high. Two of us visited for a business dinner. Quiet and refined with loads of character. Menu prices started at $140 and went up over $200 per head, drinks extra. The genuine wagyu beef simply melted in my mouth and... More

The most amazing steak we have ever eaten. It melted in your mouth. There wasn't to much food and the tea served with dinner was delicious. This place is expensive but worth it.

On our recent stay in Tokyo I was looking for an authentic Japanese style meal to introduce my picky daughter to. Teppanyaki Yebisu is on level 22 of the Westin Hotel in Tokyo, and while it is expensive it does have great food. My daughter who is usually very picky about what she eats was raving to me at the... Fabulous on all counts! This was unlike any teppanyaki I've had before. Go ahead and splurge. Service and presentation was superb. The lobster was most succulent and delicious. The Wagyu beef melts in your mouth.

Come here to order the specialty steaks (really tender) or the lobster. Cooked right in front of you. There is a wide choice of set menus depending on your appetite, steak and seafood, just steak, several courses, etc. You can order à la carte, too. The restaurant is on the top floor of the Westin with great views of Tokyo.... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
