I have eaten here three times now - food is good! I usually get a combination of chicken, pork, beef, cheese, and vegetables - all of it pretty good! I also like the horse meat sashimi. The service is good - some have said impersonal,...More

We loved our meal at Jomon. This is the place to go to sit amongst Japanese salary men (and women) unwinding after a long day of work and taste highlights of Izakaya cuisine. The atmosphere is lively and relaxed, with an open kitchen, lots of...More

Lovely little place, good mix of tourists and locals - fairly youngish crowd. Not formal so don't go expecting otherwise. We turned up on spec, no reservation - they squeezed us in at the window, dangled our legs out and put our feet up on...More

Asked if I had a reservation which was a surprise as it's not the sort of place you'd expect to need one. It's a little rough and ready and a little cramped. You have to leave your shoes by the door. The scewers were really...More

The first night I passed by this place and tried to get and the Chef actually asked me if I had a reservation. I was going to ask him if I was somehow in Paris? But I just disappeared instead. Couple nights later I figured...More

Really excellent casual dinner. Busy and smoky and fun. Very friendly service and easy to transact in English. The food was excellent across the board. Standouts were seared Japanese beef, beef tongue, pork with ginger, and avocado. Highly recommended.

I went to the place by myself. The place is crowed but they managed to squeeze me in at one of the windows so I could look outside. The beer is cold and the food is good. It's certainly not high cuisine but what you...More

What a great find. I have walked past many times and thought it was just a crowded sake bar - which it is and so much more. The food is amazing, even for vegetarians- Homemade sesame Tofu has made me a convert to tofu. The...More

Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were
famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants,
bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the
area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot

One more thing. Their English is not great. I have no idea about other language capabilities. If you are making a reservation it is a good idea to ask the staff at your hotel to help you.
Does anyone know if we can bring kids to the restaurant?
