Offers fine yakitori and dishes within a nice atmosphere. Best place to prepare yourself for the night in Roppongi.

Loved this little restaurant, where you can seat on the counter and see the preparation of delicious yakitoris (one of the best I ate during my stay in Tokyo) or directly on the street when windows are open. Very original and funny. Of course the place is not really typical now, full of foreigners attracted by the good reviews, which... More

I came in for an early dinner, just in time to be seated without a reservation. They have only one beer available, but a wide array of Japanese Sake and Shochu are the main event for beverages. I chose the chef's selection of yakitori to get a taste of as much of the menu as possible. If you are seated... More

This touristy classic is really worth it : although it's always full and you should book, the reasons for their initial success are still there. Food is good, japanese style but easy to test. Atmosphere is warm. Tourist friendly but a genuine japanese feel. Book in advance!

Definitely much better than our previous yakitori experience what comes to the food. Food was pretty good and it was fun watching them prepare it. We enjoyed traditional seating as well. Stuff is pretty rude. Overall it was an average experience.

We found this in lonely planet and ended squeezing in with one of us on milk crates sitting on one side and the other sitting opposite in the window. This arrangement made total sense for a crowded night. We loved the mix of grilled meats, vegetables, and cheese; in fact we reordered our meal for a second round. The staff... More

I heard about this little gem in Roppongi from a friend and thought I would check it out. We sat facing the chefs as they cooked up some superb food in front of us. They were also great at giving us recommendations on their food and extensive drink menue. This place has a really fun atmosphere and has a great... More

I'm not a carnivore by any means but I've just been finding that in Japan, the amount of meat served is just not adequate. I usually keep my protein intake higher and am finding it really tough. This is a cool, hipster vibe type of Izakaya establishment. You have both locals and foreigners dining here due to the Roppongi Hills... More

Really delicious Yakitori, traditional setting, great atmosphere, fun serving staff who were very attentive. A really great meal. The chicken breast skewers were slightly lacking in the "umami" compared to the rest (pork belly, lotus roots, beef skirt, chicken meatballs) but that didn't dampen the experience at all.
