Good and delicious. Kimchi fresh and crunchy. Meat with sauce so yummy and tender. Service good and quick. Recommended ala carte menu, cheaper than set menu.

We selected combo of six kinds of beef. Some of them seems Wagyu and very nice. Beef heart and beef tongue are also very nice. Price is normal and service is good.

Visited Thursday evening wanting to try a nice Yakiniku place. Stumbled across this one located in a building on 8th floor. Restaurant was advertised from the street. Enjoyed the 6 meat BBQ special. Very tasty. Each party has private dining room which my wife and 10yr old loved. Menus are bilingual (incl English). Price is a little high for each... More

We stumbled across this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait for a table even though the restaurant was half empty. When it was clear we were going to stay, they suddenly were able to seat us. The food was fine - meat portions were much smaller than what... More

This place serves delicious Korean food, we had omelette and 2 type of noodles- sautéed and udon (spicy beef) all very yummy. The guys there don't speak much English but the menu has been translated so we had no problem at all. I recommend to anyone round the area looking for a nice lunch.

I found out about Gyubei while searching for a great place to eat in Shibuya. The first time I came here with my friend and my sister. It was late when we arrived (11pm) and we were given a table in a booth. Even though their English wasn't great, we still managed to communicate. When we ordered we wanted to... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
