Ganso kimukatsu is good here. It's affordable if we could have such meat. The atmosphere inside is also calm and it fitted with us.

Technically, its "chicken-fried pork". But, thats not unlike calling foie-gras "liver". It is, but kinda begs the point. This is the most porky-pork you've ever had, all layered and tender, with an awesome crispy golden crust. Just...brilliant. Oh, the salad dressing is pretty rocksome too.

This tonkatsu joint is famous for being famous. Its specialty is tonkatsu made from pork slices and filled with a variety of stuffings like cheese. It's not a bad place to while away the dinner hours.

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
