Delicious sizzling pan of fresh vegetables in a rich Indian style curry. Select your type of curry and your size of rice. You don't need too much rice as the dish is packed with vegetables. Friendly staff, cosy place, busy at lunch. Very satisfying.

Stopped at Camp for dinner on a whim on our way back to Shinjuku. The prices seemed inexpensive and the choice seemed exactly what we were looking for - they are very reasonable. The curry was extremely tasty, and the waitress who explained the (very simple) menu was friendly and helpful. The setting is novel - I really enjoyed the... More

Very good curry with lots of vegetables which some japanese meals seem to lack. The place is small but popular so maybe there will be some waiting time. It's also easy to miss, so look for the sign camp and go down the stairs to find it. Good atmosphere and as said very tasty curry. Expect to pay between 1100... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
