Literally, any traditional or modern Japanese delicacy you can think of can be purchased here. A quick rundown of some of the things you can purchase: Bento boxes, sushi, takoyaki, taiyaki, dango, wagashi, expensive Asian pears, Hokkaido milk bread, red bean trifles, matcha ice cream,...More

In the basement of a department store right next to the Hachiko statue. Perfect for normally-priced Tokyo takeaway lunch/dinner. There is so much QUALITY food its crazy - the only problem is deciding how to fill your limited tummy space!

It's so easy to get lost in the basement of the Tokyu department store - there's so much to see. From exotic to familiar, the selection is endless. On our return flight we even took advantage of an extended layover to ride the Skyliner in...More

We were very impressed with the Food Show in the basement of Tokyu Department store in Shibuya. We bought a few meals to take back to our hotel room to eat. There is only a very small area to eat the food, so I recommend...More

A friend told me to check out the food in the train stations. I thought she was talking about the ekiben (bento boxes made for train commuters) but she said it was much more than that. Then, another told me that the last time he...More

There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
