Right next to Shibuya station we nearly missed it on the way to the trains. This is an amazing food hall full of fresh foods, breads, pastries, curries, meats, seafood, chocolatiers... we took some curries sold by weight, ate it on the train (couldn't wait)....More

Being from Los Angeles and vegetarian, Japan does not have salads readily available at most restaurants. Greens isn't a thing our here like it is in the West Coast (USA). Food Show the the rescue. You can have an array of healthy options, from lean...More

In the basement of a department store right next to the Hachiko statue. Perfect for normally-priced Tokyo takeaway lunch/dinner. There is so much QUALITY food its crazy - the only problem is deciding how to fill your limited tummy space!

A friend told me to check out the food in the train stations. I thought she was talking about the ekiben (bento boxes made for train commuters) but she said it was much more than that. Then, another told me that the last time he...More

Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
