What a lovely place! We popped in for a coffee with friends, ended up staying for over an hour. The staff were really lovely and very friendly. They were more than happy to let our labradoodle sit in the courtyard with us, and in fact...More

These days I always have a look at Tripadvisor before dining out and there aren't many places with such good reviews that we felt we had to try The Old Bakehouse! We weren't disappointed. From the moment we stepped inside the place felt "right" and...More

I absolutely love this place. The Pad Thai and the Moo Makrame are amazing. I hope it never closes. The cakes look delicious, but I usually don't have room to sample them.

We are always looking for cafes and restaurant that are a little different so tried the Bakehouse in Castle Cary because it offers Thai food along side the normal lunch offerings. We all had different Thai main dishes which were very good. The service was...More

A lovely lunch again at the Bakehouse in Castle Cary in Somerset. A quaint village to visit and see the range of shops. Must mention Burns the Bread (shop) serving the best bread and cakes we have ever tasted. Lunch was great as we have...More
