Ambiance of the restaurant at the top of the hotel is nice. Quiet somewhat dark but ok when you're just looking for a quiet meal. I was just off an intercontinental flight and looking for just that. I ordered a set menu with a bit of fish and a bit of beef. It was cooked in front of me, but... More

I went to this restaurant the other day with a party of 7, for a business dinner. It's certainly very exciting to sit there with a hot plate on the other side and the chef preparing your meal right in front of your eyes! We could tell that the food was being prepared from only the best ingredients. The Hungarian... More

Restaurant is on the 28th floor of a hotel and offers splendid views while having a very good teppanyaki dinner. The food is really refined and the service is very good. They offer à la carte but also 5 menus averaging around 20.000 yen per person. For this price you get a 5 course dinner including kobe beef and abalone.... More

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
