Waitress could not be bothered. Starter very bland, main OK. Desert could not tell you as after waiting 20 mins we still had not been asked if we wanted any. Got the bill and left. Wont be going back

I had a lovely meal in an enchanting patio in this restaurant in the centre of Petra. The staff are super friendly. Will definitely repeat.

Visited without booking and they managed to accommodate our party of 13, although it always seemed to be busy and we did see people turned away on other evenings. Had a good choice of dishes - local cuisine, meats & pasta dishes - something to suit everyone in the group. We had three courses, drinks & wine and it seemed... More

Despite visiting the restaurant to make a booking for 6 people for dinner several days before when we arrived we were not welcomed and shown to a laid table ready for us. There was no table reserved but luckily there was space available. The waitress gave us the menu and took our orders whilst we were sitting round a bare... More

When you arrive, by bike, into Petra on a sunny March day you have a fantastic choice of cycle friendly places to eat and drink. Thankfully we arrived just before the rush - another 30 minutes as the whole place was standing room only!! The staff were friendly, the food was great and the prices are good. We both had... More

We sat outside; while Petra is a totally cute town anyway, the restaurant is located on a public square away from traffic. It is on the "sunny" side of the square, which may make it quite hot in the summer (though I'm sure they have some sort of artificial shade), but in February it was absolutely perfect. The food is... Came here further to guide book reviews. Place well situated in the lovely mallorcan town of Petra. We ate inside but could have eaten in the square outside. Geared up for cycling groups. Lovely old mallorcan manor house. Simple local food and nice wine/beer. The lady who served us in fairness had a lot of tables to cover that day... More

We have eaten twice at Sa Placa during our stay here, and we amazed at the quality of the food we can get at an affordable price. Their salads are very tasty and the pork in almond sauce was excellent. Service was also good. Definitely the best restaurant we tried in Petra.

Lovely and tasteful lunch set in colourful courtyard. Lots of choice on the menu, good service and very good value for money. I could not have asked for more !

Not in the main square - Sa Place is in a square a small distance from the main square - great place to stop for coffee and cake after cycling - the Almond cake is one of the best I've tasted on the Island - chatting to the waiter they seem to take a real pride in it - would... More
