For the first time not very satisfied, the aperitif hardly served when the dishes arrived, very unpleasant, but there were so many people, it's on the chain. ..
The tartar of my husband it could go although very little potato and a little too toasted... , I took a large plate of seafood and there a little disappointed: shrimp so small that nothing to eat, in the 3 langoustines, 1 very well cooked but the other 2 difficult to remove the shell and the flesh comes out in small soft pieces... not cooked of the day!!!! 2 easy to decorticate and the 3rd a little "soft"
Disappointed because 97 euros is a budget anyway, and only in alcohol 2 Kirs white wine.

We were looking for a fish restaurant for lunch and were near here. Full of locals and tourists. Luckily there was a table for 2 available.
We decided not to go for the fruit de mer but for a large fish dish with crab (€25) and a bowl of langoustines (€18). This was more than enough and tasted great. It was also beautifully presented (see photos).
We received an amuse-bouche on the house beforehand and a freshly baked and warm madelleine at checkout. If you are in the area and want to eat fish, this is a good place near the harbor.

This restaurant must be a part of your Normandy experience! My family recently were in Normandy to visit the beaches of D-Day and to visit the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-mer. Our tour guide (from Best of France Tours), made prearrangements for us to eat at La Maree in Grandchamp-Maisy. Wow! The food--fresh from the sea--was out of this world! All of my family agree that this was the best dining experience of our trip. In addition, the restaurant provided a very personal touch. Our granddaughter suffers from severe allergies to eggs and nuts, especially peanuts. The restaurant owner took personal special care of her, even to the point of making her a special dessert of her very on so that she would not be left out of the total meal experience. Given the personal interest and care that we were shown, given the atmosphere of this restaurant, given the friendliness of the entire staff, given the amazing food dishes, this is a place our family can't wait to return to!

We visited this restaurant twice on our recent trip to Grandcamp Maisy and both lunches were excellent. The first time we visited was in a large family group and we had a variety of dishes off the set menu. There was a fish and a meat choice, the food was excellent quality and good value for money. On our return we had the fruits de Mer, which as the restaurant is directly on the port, was very fresh and again good value for money.

Family dinner on Friday evening February 16. It was lucky because there were few tables available (plan to reserve a table).
Efficient welcome from the different waitresses who are relayed throughout our meal.
Children's menu (selected fish) and fish for adults then cheese platter and dessert for adults, without forgetting a glass of wine (white and red)
Perfect !
A very small complaint: the amount of the bill. Quality has a cost, they say. Ok but the cost structure in Grandcamp-maisy is not that of large French metropolises.

Nice establishment, friendly staff but Newbie to the trade!
In the kitchen beautiful products ... but for us a little mistreated!
As a starter for my wife perfect oysters... for me... three small scampi with little stains of sauce...
The dish for my wife a holy stone very well cooked but slaughtered by a vanilla sauce and far too spicy!
For me ... a steak tartar ... also mistreated ... meat cut very, very coarsely and dipped in an elongated mayonnaise ... with small reheated shot potatoes as a side dish!
I guess we came on a bad day...
Anyway ... missed meal.... Total bill 97 euros!

This restaurant located on the port is a little gem.
We discovered it during a tour in this region
The staff, primarily female, are attentive and above all remarkably efficient.
You won't wait for your dishes and God knows that this Saturday evening there were people...
The flavors are there with a little connotation especially for the sauces.
The 35 euro menu is definitely worth trying
Entrance
Between the foie gras (a little veiny despite everything)
The roasted and coated scallops are exceptional
Flat
The crispy veal head creamy garlic polenta and mushrooms mushroom veal juice is superb
The waitress's recommendation of a hare with foie gras sauce is just as tasty
The St Pierre smoked potato and chermoula sauce really very good too
For desserts
Crunchy rice soufflé with dulcey ganache and top-notch praline coulis
This tide is high
Thank you to the cabin crew and the captain for these shared moments of gastronomy
I'll give you the photos

What can I say...excellent meal, fresh produce, originality, everything is there. The 2 menus offered are excellent value for money, the fish are perfectly cooked and the desserts homemade. Fast and flawless service. Highly recommended.

90 euros in total for eating with a stone lance, we were at the aperitif and 3 times we were brought the entrance, then we were still eating that they wanted to clear the cutlery. We stayed in everything for 1 hour 06 minutes. I do not recommend

A very pleasant discovery for lunch on December 31st. While many restaurants are closed, we had a particularly attentive, considerate and dedicated welcome. Mention for a little blonde waitress who will recognize herself and who impressed us with her kindness. The flavors were at their best, the scallops exceptional, the desserts delicious. A warm and welcoming setting (basket of seasonal fruit on the table), an establishment that fully deserves the title of master restaurateur. Well done !

We ate excellent fresh fish on the port, one of the few open on Mondays. Initially, a French woman served us, annoyed by the fact that we spoke English, a language she didn't understand, making rude faces. Fortunately, Julija, a very kind and cheerful Ukrainian girl, came to serve us and cheered up our dinner.

We had dinner there the day before the 2023 St. Jacques feast and we had such a good time that we returned the next day in the middle of the celebration. Roasted scallops clad in bacon cooked in their shells, tournedos of scallops on their squid ink risotto with lobster bisque, carpaccio of scallops with cauliflower mousseline etc... A quality of execution and a treat to taste, all with exemplary service. The seafood platters looked magnificent. We weren't able to try this time but perhaps it will give us the opportunity to come back another time.
In the meantime, go ahead with your eyes closed!

I admire the class of this restaurant and its professionals always ready to satisfy the customer. The food and the atmosphere are impeccable, but they do not displease the pedantics and no less rude people who allowed themselves to make an esclandre, leaving the table under the pretext of delay in the service. Congratulations to the team that kept Ace in position.

Hold on to your aperitif! At the beginning we chose the menu and ordered an aperitif and water each. After the starter arrived, we still didn't have any water and asked again. The water was then brought, but unfortunately my aperitif (a half-full glass of champagne) was cleared away. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to complain and order wine because we were so shocked and the waiter immediately disappeared and didn't even acknowledge us. The food was OK.

We were a group of 10 looking forward to a relaxing dining experience after a long day's cycling. We were led to our table but no one asked us if we would like a drink. No menus appeared either. After watching other diners coming in and being served we felt ignored and after 20 minutes complained. Shortly afterwards someone took our drinks order and another waiter threw a pile of menus at the end of our table. At this point we nearly walked out but the prospect of finding somewhere else for 10 diners led us to stay.
The food when it finally arrived was very good. Such a shame that such terrible service spoilt what should have been a lovely evening.
