I love to come to Maddie Hatter Tea shop in Erin on Sunday morning's for lunch.. The food is so delicious and the menu has everything that I love to eat. I have spent many years going to places to eat, but this is by...far the best place to get down to earth food and wonderful service. Coming to Maddie's starts my week off feeling great.More

A hidden gem located in the quaint village of Erin. We took our mums out for a high tea that we pre booked and really loved it. We had a room to ourselves and had "Royal High Tea" which consisted of 3 tier cake stand...with an assortment of savory and sweet fares. Complementing this was a choice of loose leaf tea from the drink menu. We decided to celebrate Christmas with mimosas!More

Staff were extremely pleasent. High tea was to die for. The scones & desserts were in All honesty perhaps the best I've had. Would we go there again? You best we would. We'd drive uphill both ways in a snow storm!

Thanks for the feedback and great review. We will pass the compliment on to our dedicated and hard working staff. Best you call beforehand in the event of a snowstorm though, just to make sure we are open!

Recently had the special valentine high tea at Maddie Hatters and Erin, Ontario. In comparison to my experience in London England, Maddie hatters had no problem exceeding my expectations. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy while the food and tea (great variety) was divine. Definitely...a place worth visiting again!More

This afternoon myself and my daughter in law had the pleasure of enjoying high tea at Maddie Hatter. From the moment we walked in the door the smiles and warmth we felt was incredible. Our servers Mia and Brooke were absolutely lovely. So personable and...very efficient. The high tea was so delicious from the scrumptious finger sandwiches to the fantastic scones. The desserts were also enjoyed so very much. Thank you for making our experience such a memorable one. We definitely will be back!!!!!More

We visited once during Erin Fall Fair weekend and loved it so much we went back in November. Amazing fresh made scones, so we took some home, both times. Yummy soup and salad. Fabulous English High Tea, which was even better than high tea that...we've had at several other places outside and inside Canada. Friendly staff and truly fanciful décor. Just a delightful afternoon break. We plan on returning again when we're in Erin area again.More

This little cafe, with its eclectic decor, really is a gem. Warm and welcoming, the real star is the food. On my first visit, we ordered a pot of English Breakfast tea. It came in a lovely, big ceramic tea pot, complete with loose tea...leaves and elegant strainer. A perfect start to a lunch with my entree: creamy root vegetable soup (perfectly hot and served in a tea cup) and a toasted BLT with fried egg on this beautifully baked white bread from the local baker. So delicious! The experienced, mature staff know how to serve customers. They do not waste time on nonsense like “Hi. I’m Tanya and I’ll be your server today.” They just bring you the chef’s creations and trust you’ll enjoy your meal. We surely did,More

Today myself and 3 girl friends visited the Maddie Hatter for high tea. It was so worth the 1 hour drive to quaint town of Erin. The food and tea was delish! Our server Karen was attentive, kind and ensured our high tea experience was...perfect. I can see why the place was packed on a Tues afternoon. The atmosphere definitely had that Alice in Wonderland vibe. Will definitely go back.More

Our Tea shop is located in an old historic building on the Main street in Erin. I would not consider it wheel chair accessible due to the step leading into the front door and the size of our bathrooms.
