The business was accommodating to our group leader booking for 20 people. It was a lovely atmosphere, warm, welcoming, organized, understood a food allergy. Amazing tea options, delicious savoury and sweet delights. We will book again as a group and with our own families. Tea,...food and experience is worth the cost. We had High tea.More

Fantastic selection of teas, beautiful afternoon tea presentation on 3-tiered servers, with savouries (sandwiches, mac & cheese, shepherd's pie), scones with cream and jam, and sweets, including cheesecake trifle and red velvet cake.

Was here with a friend for her birthday, and thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything tasted as though it was homemade in small batches, and so tasty! Will definitely return here rather than the Old Mill or King Eddy!

Wow! Everything was SO good! Mini Mac & Cheese, as well as a mini shepherd’s pie. More familiar with just sandwiches, so this was a lovely addition! Wonderful desserts! Bit disappointed that the menu said that there was just one scone; but it was HUGE!...Equal to at least two scones! Definitely a must visit!More

Thank you for the lovely review. Our scones are definitely on the larger size. Glad you enjoyed your lunch at Maddie’s!

We went there last week for lunch. Really quaint place, the quiche and salad was really good, it really reminded me of being back home in England. The scones were absolutely delicious. Amazing service, very polite and kind, I'm so sorry I didn't get the...servers name. The only thing is that the decor could really be done better with a better play on the actual name of the tea shoppe. I sat there and thought wow I would love to revamp this place from a decor standpoint. All in all though a really nice place..and the food was fab, this is the only place that has really reminded me of home. Thank you :)))More

I enjoy afternoon tea and have been to several throughout Ontario. I can honestly say that this is one of my favorites! The town of Erin is quaint and welcoming. Maddie Hatter is in the main strip and offered many options for parking. The tea...shoppe itself was bigger than I expected and easily allowed for social distancing. Our table was set up when we arrived (we made a reservation) and the tea options were plenty. All three of us ordered a different flavor and they were all yummy. The food was AMAZING!!! From the finger sandwiches to the scones to the desserts...each piece was scrumptious and flavorful. And all the flavors blended so well together. The best part of our experience was our server, Shenice. She was so friendly and easy to talk to. She explained each piece of our food and had our mouths all watering before we devoured all if it. She mentioned that the food was new options, so hopefully they stay on the menu🙂More

My husband and I had lunch and high tea at Maddie’s. My husband loved his quiche however, my high tea didn’t meet my expectations. For a high tea of $25, I found it lacking on taste and appeal. I have had high tea in many...similar places however this was a disappointment. The ambiance and service was very good.More

Our Tea shop is located in an old historic building on the Main street in Erin. I would not consider it wheel chair accessible due to the step leading into the front door and the size of our bathrooms.
