Our steaks were probably the best we've had - and we've eaten steaks in many restaurants over they years. The staff were absolutely charming and attentive but not overly so - just right. The ambiance in the restaurant was perfect - music not too loud which is unusual these days! Overall a really lovely way to spend our last evening... More

Slightly more expensive than we would normally pay but a very fine meal. The staff were very pleasant and informative and constantly on the go!Food was well cooked. I had a fillet steak, my husband had the vegetarian pie option. An enjoyable meal and you don't have to have chips with everything. There is also a children's menu. Whilst the... More

We arrived at jamesons for my 40th birthday and were met by 2 lovely staff who greated us with a huge welcoming smile. We were sat at our table immediately but asked if we would like a drink at the bar. We took our 3 year old daughter with us so best option is to sit quickly! The food was... More

I tried to phone to make a booking but there was a message saying "unavailable call back later". We drove to the restaurant where we saw the opening hours notice on the door saying that the restaurant was open on Tuesday evenings. We arrived on the same Tuesday evening an hour after the time when it was stated that the... More

Made a return visit to this restaurant, following its move to the present site from The Old Schoolhouse. Lovely atmosphere and very attentive staff. We were celebrating my husband's birthday so were pleased our evening and food was so successful. We all had different mains and they arrived together. Couldn't find room for a dessert (which is a minor miracle).... More
