Eaten here twice recently and been very impressed. Service is excellent and a good menu choice including some impressive vegetarian choices. Not cheap, but not expensive and given the quality of the food I'd say it's reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Outside Brixham but a bus ride to all the coastal resorts in the area makes this pub/ restaurant ideal for a few days stay. Great size rooms, amazing food and right next to the steam railway going from paignton to dartmouth. Highly recommend.

Description
The restaurant, bar and rooms at the Weary Ploughman at Churston has been extensively refurbished to a very high standard during the last two years to provide somewhere to eat, meet or stay that is very welcoming and comfortable, but not in any way pretentious. Our menu is varied and freshly cooked using, whenever possible, produce sourced locally.
