We went for high tea which incorporates a main cooked meal, followed by a cake tray of cream cakes, scones and tarts with tea or coffee. Absolutely yum! A real treat. This all for under £14 per head.

For those visiting new Galloway this is a must. I have visited numerous times and the food is always amazing as are the wide range of homemade cakes. It's exceptionally reasonable and the unusual surroundings of bone china with the ceiling from a ship are...More

Description
The history surrounding Kitty's has made it unique, being set in a Victorian house, built by a retired sea captain circa 1840. The Captain commisioned local carpenters to put in place the wonderful panelled ceiling, removed from a ship which was broken up in nearby Palnackie Harbour. The origional panneled ceiling and walls, still survive to this day and I'm sure you'll agree the workmanship was second to none. Kitty is privilaged to own and run this small family buisness in such beautiful surroundings. And looks forward to welcoming you. OPEN SEVEN DAYS A WEEK FROM EASTER WEEKEND TO BEGINING OF NOVEMBER.
