At least 5 ( non falafel) mains, starters, vegan desserts! What’s not to like. We had the sausages and mash, huge! And the Balti. Curry is jackfruit, exquisite. Comes with rice, chips and naan. About £10 per main. Huge huge portions! Highly recommend this lovely...pub.More

My wife and I have just enjoyed the most wonderful meal in this establishment, the service provided by the staff Shannon and Beth was excellent, attentive and friendly. Our meals where superb, my chilli was beautifully presented and my wife had the most tender lamb...shank. Add to this the amazing view across the Mersey towards Liverpool and the sound of Led Zeppelin playing Ramble On in the background made this a most enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.More

Very lovely pub - traditional and historic with nice updated décor and warm atmosphere. Views of the river were stunning. I can't speak highly enough of the staff, who were all friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Enjoyed the food. The Chilli...could of done with a bit more spice, but that's my preference. The Jackfruit Curry was very tasty. Nice portion sizes and great value for money. I very much enjoyed my visit and highly recommend to those who haven't found it yet!More

We were looking forward to having a meal at the Ferry restaurant but the fish and chips wasn't good. The batter tasted weird and there was practically no fish in it. The chilli con carne only had a few beans in it. It tasted sweet......how come? It looked like a ragu sauce and was in a horrible steel container, very unattractive and unappetising. £15 for a bottle of Pinot Grigio ....it was rank! Staff were friendly and welcoming. The view from the top floor was interesting but the smell of fried food put us off. I rarely eat out but when I do, would like to eat well. In this case, would have preferred to eat at home. I won't be eating there again.More

I've never been to The Ferry before, but now I've been twice in two weeks. The first time was with a mate, the second time with my wife, both times for lunch. The fish is really good - the large cod is a whale sized,...and the smaller cod, is just baby whale sized ! The steak and ale pie is also top drawer as well. I feel another lunch coming on again in the next 2 or 3 weeks.More

The outdoor seating area is spacious with lovely views across the River Mersy. My wife and I can thoroughly recommend this venue.More

Staff aren't the best trained although very friendly, food however can be 0/10 depending on luck of the day. Standard Pub Grub but a little pricier than you'd find at a chain. Can't say it's all bad had okay experiences in the past but visited...2 weeks back and seems to be going through a bad period again. Know numerous chefs who have worked here over the years and the claim that the fish is 'purchased daily + Pies made daily is a blatant lie!' To call your customers liers because the frozen pies don't have much meat inside, or because the fish batter can be loaded with Bi card dependant on who's working is embarrassing, disrespectful and pitiful.More

Telephoned in advance regarding food and was told yeah no problem. Arrived to be told not doing food at mo until the kitchen was cleared. Ordered some drinks and was assured we could get food. We kept asking and we’re constantly assured as soon as...the kitchen had caught up we could order. Finally had enough and spoke to a most unpleasant bar manager that no more food was being served. Customer service non existent. MY ADVICE AVOID AVOID AVOID. Go somewhere else as it can’t be as bad as at The Ferry!More
