We visited Hermit of Redcoats last night for dinner, we were a group of 11 out for Work. Food was lovely I had pollock wrapped in Parma ham, staff were fantastic - will definitely return it’s a lovely cosy pub!

We had booked a table for 6 of us for a company conference the next day. Some colleagues found out about our plans and decided to join us at the last minute. The staff couldn't have been more lovely or more helpful. The food was...More

Had the short rib and it was excellent. The restaurant has been refurbished since I was last there and very nicely done. Stayed over and breakfast was included.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here today. Food was tasty but only criticism would be the long wait for our meals. Admittedly it was busy but still took a while before we ate. Would come again

As you'll see by my previous reviews, we've eaten here a lot and always love it. Last night was a bit of a let down, though. I had scallops to start and although they were cooked well and tasted great, the portion size was tiny....More
