It was the perfect sunny spring day, straight out of a Rupert Brooke poem. It was Sunday, The Kent coastal towns and their pubs were heaving with tourists, so we plunged into Romney March, and half way across we turned up in the Midsomer Murder hamlet of Ivychurch. Could the little pub next to the ancient church possibly offer us... More

Great service and food friendly staff Good choice on Menu and Specials board. Make sure you go there hungry as the food portions are very big.

Dropped in after cinema at junction 9 wanting pub grub. Warm hello, a. Lovely fire roaring in the grate. Friendly staff, nothing seemed too much trouble! Probably I have a thing about chair pads, a bit flat ( see other reviews) but we were there to eat. Scrumptious pie and good meaty lasagne. No room for pud! See you again,... More

If you are planing to eat its worth calling ahead to check availability, never had a problem getting a table but its worth noting the kitchen closes at 14:30 on a... More

There aren't many tables in this pub so you need to book ahead. The food is always good with a fairly traditional menu and a range of 'specials'. It's very much a locals pub and it can be hard to get through the crowd around the bar.
