Fabulous.... excellent service and high quality produce and good generous portions. I had lamb.... well it was like two portions of succulent lamb..... didn't need the sides as such as the main event was outstanding. What a great restaurant...... was brought up in the village so lovely to see such a thriving family run business.

I won't say we moved to Deganwy because of this restaurant, but....we've been there 3 times in a month and it will hopefully my 4th time soon. My only complaint is...the veg. I just cannot get my head around eating fish with red cabbage and carrots, in fact, I don't, but other than that, ok it's currently my fav. place... More

What a gem of a place! The service was top notch and the food was incredibly tasty. Sirloin steak cooked to perfection. Very busy so definitely book ahead.

A real gem of a restaurant. The understated front desguises the treat that lies within. Spectacular food and wine selection, combined with warm hospitality and great ambience. A real favourite of ours!

Went with a group of friends and the food and ambiance was up to its usual top standard. There was only one thing that I think needs highlighting, the potatoes were ridiculously hot and with the bowl they were held in of the same heat someone could be burnt if not careful. It didn't spoil the evening and we will... More

We've dined at Paysanne a number of times over the years but have usually left feeling something was missing to make our meal a really memorable one. It may be we are unfairly comparing it with some of our favourite French restaurants. The standard of cooking is good, though not adventurous, and I would personally prefer it if quantity gave... We found this restaurant on the Internet and decided to give it a try. It offers French Food which was excellent. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We had an enjoyable meal and will definately return.

Fabulous food served in convivial surroundings by very attentive staff. Mine host was great as always. The snails were delicious and the salmon tasted as good as it looked. Great place for couples or small groups. Fantastic for Sunday lunch , unless you have to do a very long drive home!

Why we haven't been before beats me as we love good restaurants. We can only guess that everybody who visits this little gem, wants to keep it to themselves. And who could blame them. We arrived by train, the Deganwy train station is just over the road, it was if they had there own private service there, We chose the train as... More

The service was first class, the owner and all staff attentive, the food a sunday lunch with specials was good. Six persons in our party all enjoyed an excellent meal. The food was fresh, I particularly enjoyed the rabbit terrine and the roast beef main course.
