First class, low key. Wonderful service at very reasonable prices. Fresh, local ingredients; cooked and served to perfection. Don't miss it! We will return with more family and friends!

We purposely ate here after my husband did much research on where to eat in Monte San't Angelo, and it was well worth it. When we travel we prefer smaller, local eateries with no English menus. This restaurant did not disappoint! We were apprised of the daily specials and chose from them, along with the house wine, a local vintage.... More

Excellent! Monte Di Sant Angelo one of the best place in Puglia. Medieval feel. Cool food at Medievo. I recommend Agnello Profumo del Gargano for your second plate. Must visit.

I can really recommend this restaurant because they have a very good menu-card. They serve great quality food for a reasonable price, and the service was also excellent. They also served us a very good muscat-wine i.e. Moscato di Trani, which is a sweet dessert wine of the region.

THE best meal of our trip this time....and we've had terrific ones! We came on a busy Saturday for lunch with another couple. We left 90 minutes later, completely sated, smiling - and ready for a nap! The owner walked us through the menu (in Italian, of course) and we ordered a mixed vegetable antipasti, pasta with cuttlefish, pasta with... More

Totally came upon this place by chance - who knew? But I had a feeling all the signs in their window for being in Michelin Guides and Tripadvisor were good omens. Prompt seating for lunch after visiting Michael's Sanctuary. Wine was great and all their pasta dishes were superb. I just asked what they recommended for the pasta (one had... More

Delicious pasta dishes (shrimps with zucchini flowers & tomato; porcini mushrooms). Grilled lamb with "the perfume of Gargano - very tasty. A quiet lunchtime but efficient and friendly service. Nice setting - relatively cool on a very warm day. Highly recommended.

Heard many good things about Medioevo and they were confirmed to me by a friend in Mattinata. Lived up to the hype. Excellent, well-preserved and fresh. I loved the troccoli with seppie and wild fennel. Definitely recommend the mixed appetizer that includes some of their home made affetati. Owner is very nice and the restaurant has a nice elegance to... More

Lovey Michelin restaurant just a few yards from the Santuario de Michele. We had a mixed veg antipasti, followed by scampi and rocket pasta. Great food, amazing smoky red wine, great service. Thank you. We will be back!
