The terrace is very nice with lots of vegetation and the kitchen and toiled sparkling clean.The staff was very friendly and fun to talk to. amazing!! I visited the santa marija restaurant today (following a recommendation on TA). WOW! i have been to hvar very regularly for a number of years and i know a number of restaurants during this time. what I can say is that the santa marija...is one of my TOP recommendations from today! i can't remember that i have ever eaten such good seafood pasta in my life - never !! the absolute hit. the portions are huge (i even had to cancel the main course). the family business also offers its own olive oil, wine, etc. ) the service is super friendly. a real recommendation !!More

We had relaxed countryside dinner. For appetizer we ate octopus salad which was great. For main meal we order fish plater for 2. Fishes and shrimps were so fresh and well prepared, probably caught that day. I don't remember when I ate shrimps on the...grill that are so suitably prepared as this one. Portions are big, you won't stay hungry, for sure. The desert was carob cake which was also excellent. Before we leave, waiter bring us 2 carob liquors. The prices are good for food quality you get. I would recommend this restaurant for everyone who wants enjoy local cuisine in relaxed surrounding.More

We came here as we had hired a car. Nestled just outside of Stari Grad, it feels like a restaurant which embodies the traditions Of Hvar. The waiters/owners were so friendly and attentive. This place is little gem and must be visited if you are staying close to Stari Grad. Owned by local family, great dalmatian food and everything served fresh and organic.
