All of the meals were fabulous and the vegan three courses were truly superb and looked divine. This was vegan fine dining at its best and at a reasonable... More

A superb visit to this fantastic little restaurant with a party of six, including 2 children. The choice of food on the menu was varied and had plenty of options for all. We all had different starters and mains and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Desserts were granted as well. Ian is a great host and makes you feel very... More

Once again, we had a wonderful meal...Kathy and Ian continue to excel. We are continually astonished at the wide range of clever cooking --- for example, our starters were pork belly with scallops in a garlic sauce on the one hand and a delicious curried crab on the other. There is just such a lovely atmosphere, warm and welcoming, that... More

This fabulous restaurant, because without doubt it's more than a bistro, sits in Bonar Bridge having crossed over the Dornoch Firth on the A9 heading north. Just turn right staying on the A9 and within 50 the yards the Crannag Bistro is found on the left hand side of the road. We arrived in the region and had trouble finding... More

Locally source produce cooked to perfection in a location that is dear to our heart. Perfect in every way. The steaks are to die for and the choice of good wines complement the standard of this first class gem.

Thank you so much for those kind words! So pleased you enjoyed our steaks - we don't have to do much to them as grass fed Highland beef is the best in the world! I may be biased. But they are good. Look forward to serving you another onglet in the near future! More
