Really good selection of food and very friendly service. the menu is slighlty different to the other restaurants, in a good way as a lot of them just have the smae food, cooked the same way. I found this one refreshingly different with a great selection. i ate here most of the time. lovey!

This restaurant is a must when you are in the stunning historical old town of Stari Grad. There vegetables are grown in their organic garden (just down the road) and serve up with fresh local fish from the clear waters of the Adriatic. The service is always friendly and of to quality and its just the perfect place to sit... More

We came to Croatia with the intent to see the major attractions like Hvar, Split, and Dubrovnik, but fortunately one of our hosts recommended Stari Grad, which we had originally dismissed due to the proximity due to the ferry. This would have been a major mistake as it is a lovely town, with many wonderful restaurants, but none as incredible... More

The staff of the restaurant finished their summer season with a very good idea - Kanota, street food "festival" starting in the high noon. All the food looks nice and tasty, but if you came 12.15 as we did, you had a small chance to sample vegetable salad, pasta, rizoto or čevapi. All the plates were soon gone and three... More

Apparently this is the oldest restaurant in the town - about 100 years old. There were six of us and we all found the food superb and it was the best meal of the week we had sailing in this area. Reasonably priced - a must if you get to this stunning town.

I've never tried octopus before so took the chance of having it here, with spaghetti and prawns. I was not disappointed. My wife's frutti de mate was also amazing. Perfectly cooked, and with lovely wine. We also met Nigel, the local cat. Highly recommended evening out.

In Jurin Podrum they have quite a personal menu, I liked the fact that they used a "local" ingredient like the dried figs sauce and everything tasted at least partially fresh. The menu has a clear "Italian" flavor, even if most of the dishes dont cover the usual Italian "tradition". I say "partially fresh" because I wouldnt swear that the... More

Description
Charming family-run restaurant on a secluded Medieval street in the heart of Stari Grad, with a stone-clad interior and outdoor tables squeezed into a narrow aley, the center of trade and craft from 15th century. Serving delicious dishes of the Dalmatian cuisine since 1917. We are growing our own organic vegetables just outside the center of the town as well as producing our own olive oil.
