If you are any kind of boozehound, Naked for Satan will not disappoint. Similarly, if you are a non drinking boozehound companion, you have plenty of mocktail choies. Naked for Satan does excellent flavoured vodkas, all made in house and available for samplin' or in their incredible range of everyday and seasonal cocktails. If brews are your thang, then you're... We dropped in for a drink before heading to dinner. We were recommended this place by friends and found the atmosphere modern and funky. We were a bit disappointed in the small sized cocktails that didn't live up to their $20 price tag.

Been here a heap of times and its always good. The roof top is the best, with indoor and outdoor seating, the views of brunswick Street and the city are amazing. Staff are always super friendly and accommodating. If you fancy a cocktail or just a few beers definitely give this place a go

The place doesn't take booking during weekend. We are lucky that the table for 12 is available (the only one). The beer is awesome, the finger food is tasty and the main are delicious.

This place is fantastic! If you come before 4pm the downstairs pintxos (pretty good) are only $1 and the tapas on the rooftop are only $9. Prawn skewers, baked camembert, charcuterie board, and steak tartare were all SO delicious. Drink prices are standard Melbourne and could be a lot more expensive considering the location. I was here on a cloudy... More

Came here for a lunch catch up with a friend on Good Friday. Despite the restaurant being fully booked they squeezed us in at a table that wasn't booked until 2pm which was nice of them. We weren't sure if the rooftop was going to be doused in rain again so we wanted to stay inside. Tapas cost $9 per... More

Such a cool place and can't believe how cheap it is to get a varied great meal of the tapas bar food!!! $1 each at certain times of day! Spent more on alcohol! Would definitely recommend. Rooftop bar has great views and cool atmosphere.

This is a cool place , more likely suited to the younger crowd. The food is good service ok, lighting is very dark which makes it very difficult to read the menu. Its also very load and hard to have a conversation, but thats the thyme. Funky night club feel that serves good food. I would recommend this place in the... More

Great concept with basically small tapas to eat and an extensive bar menu. The venue is great, atmospheric and intersting with lots of little corners to sit and chat. It is getting a bit tired however with little variety in the food and no hot food most times I have been there. Cheap however.

We found this place while walking on the Brunswick street on lazy Monday afternoon. The place seems dingy when you enter, but upon taking the lift to the rooftop, your perception of the place changes rapidly. Because the first time we went was in winter, we weren't sure if we can hang out in the open space but the atmosphere... More

Staying in Fitzroy

Neighbourhood Profile
Fitzroy
Fitzroy is an unusual blend of working class roots, hip gentrification, and a robust bohemian work ethic. Along Brunswick Street and its side streets, you'll find little independent shops where local clothes and furniture designers display their wares. There are specialist bookshops, funky record bars, and quality vintage clothing shops where browsing is the next best thing to buying. Gertrude Street is famous for its cuisine and art galleries, but if you want to buy an old-fashioned snooker table, there is a shop for that too. Small pubs still exist, tucked away on the corners of suburban side streets that serve up traditional Sunday roasts. Live music abounds, and the street performers play so hard you worry to tip them would ruin their concentration. Venture to the Spanish quarter on Johnston Street and you may even find street dancing. It is all happening amidst off-beat street murals and the shuffle of a very funky neighbourhood that embraces both old and new.
