Ok for a nice quick coffee and a potugese tart! Seemed a popular place.Staff not overly friendly. Maybe we got them on a bad day.

Visited this place for a tryout of south-american inspired breakfast. Tried pulled beef breakfast which was good. Separate mention for coffee and portuguese tart - both were amazing

These Colombians have been in australia too long and now they have become just like australians with their mediocre customer service. They have lost the warm amicable Latin American style of customer treatment that exists in their country of origin. No greetings, no smiles, very cold, mechanical, robotic treatment from them and their employees. Somebody please tell the woman that... More

I had a most enjoyable breakfast with South American friends. The coffee is good. It's also strong. I gather the food is authentic. The decor is really good, and the place has a really fun atmosphere. I want to go again.

Very loud and busy at lunch time but good food and friendly service, some vego options and a hipster coffee with a tag to tell me about the bean origin and roasting details :) nice place will definitely go back again.

Dropped in to this place for lunch for four of us. Great little cafe, unassuming, but with fabulous south american food, delicious drinks, friendly and relaxed. Loved the chorizo arapa and the guava juice.

Went with my sister to taste colombian food and it was actually great. We loved the decoration and the atmosphere of the place, very authentic. They have a good range of colombian products. However, they did not have some of them and the service was lifeless, a bit boring I would say. Overall It is a nice place to go... More

I went to this cafe last week, and I went again this weekend. The cafe itself is warm and welcoming and the staff are very friendly. You absolutely must try the Chai Latte - I reckon it is one of the best in town! If you are going in for breakfast, they have a wide range of Arepa, so do... More

My new fave, this great little Colombian place has fantastic vibe and is so chill. Portions are small but tasty. If you're hungry, just order more :). Great hot choc and coffee too. Will be back to have more arepa...YUM!!

I've been there a couple of times already. Great coffee, awesome arepas and I'm love with their alfajores! Staff is very friendly and relaxed. Love the latin music in the background too. Whenever I'm the area I can't walk past this little place without stopping for a coffee and a snack!

Thank Carina R

Staying in Fitzroy

Neighbourhood Profile
Fitzroy is an unusual blend of working class roots, hip gentrification, and a robust bohemian work ethic. Along Brunswick Street and its side streets, you'll find little independent shops where local clothes and furniture designers display their wares. There are specialist bookshops, funky record bars, and quality vintage clothing shops where browsing is the next best thing to buying. Gertrude Street is famous for its cuisine and art galleries, but if you want to buy an old-fashioned snooker table, there is a shop for that too. Small pubs still exist, tucked away on the corners of suburban side streets that serve up traditional Sunday roasts. Live music abounds, and the street performers play so hard you worry to tip them would ruin their concentration. Venture to the Spanish quarter on Johnston Street and you may even find street dancing. It is all happening amidst off-beat street murals and the shuffle of a very funky neighbourhood that embraces both old and new.
