Well deserved 3 stars, even may be, if possible, five. The food is extremely well crafted and filled with flavor. The service… oh the service… perfection. Best ever. A choreography that it is so subtle and so efficient, that deserves the Michelin stars by themselves....We need to have more restaurants like this in France!More

Best meal ever! This was by far and away the best dinning experience we’ve ever had. We treated ourselves to the 15 course tasting menu paired with the wine and enjoyed 3.5 hours of the most beautiful food to grace a dinner plate. Staff were...really friendly and Martins nephew even gave us a tour of the kitchen to see where this magic was made. An absolute must in San Sebastián if you like good food. Will be back again when we’re passing through next time. 👌More

The experience exceeded our expectations. We chose the ala carte menu because we wanted a quick and memorable lunch. We were out of the resto in 3 hrs and had enough time to drive around and enjoy the coastal scenery. The service was friendly and...impeccable. The food was on point. Everything was just perfect. I've been to bibs, 1,2 and 3 star restos and this is definitely a class in itself.More

Attentive but subtle staff, beautiful location and superb food. The olives were a nice surprise, I squealed with joy even on the second one :) I'm usually not a dessert person, but the lemon basil was one of my favourites! Super fresh and elegant. It...was also my favourite wine pairing, what a match made in heaven! We were a bit disappointed that Martín was not there, but learned that he is recovering from a knee surgery. He was sweet enough to leave a present for us, and we love the book! If I ever get the chance to come back I will! Best restaurant experience ever! Thank you for making our night of celebration so special!More

From the welcome by our head experience staff Martín to the sommelier Salvador to the rest of the staff, this was the best dining experience out of Arzak, Akelarre, Berasategui, and Azurmendi and quite frankly the best I’ve ever had. The service is impeccable. Martín...remembered me from a past trip, and I instantly felt like I was being welcomed back as a friend. The food—phenomenal. Virtually every plate was one I wanted more of. The wine selection was thoughtful and Salvador helped me decide on what I wanted to try. I don’t know what else to say. Its perfect. If you’re trying to decide where to go when you’re in Donosti, stop right now and try to book Martin Berasategui. You wont regret it and you’ll completely spoil yourself. Guaranteed. And Martín, if you read this, make sure you say hi to Charlie for us—they work hard. :) Haha. See you again real soon.More

We can summarize our experience with one word and that is “fantastic”. Whatever we taste , service , hospitality was absolutely perfect. This is 3 michelin star and prices are relatively high but they are fully deservint every cents of this. We went there to...celebrate our 25th wedding anniversery and can not think better place than Martin. I hope we will have a chance to visit there againMore

We have eaten in about 12 Michelin/2Michelin star places. This one had it all. Friendly attentive staff. Our host was superb. She was extremely knowledgable but relaxed and spoke impeccable English. She even taught us some Spanish. We had the tasting menu. It was probably...the best meal we have ever had. The langoustine salad dish is the most beautiful creation I have ever seen. A true work of art. Faultless food and service. We will never forget it.More

It was just amazing dishes one after another. Very creative mix of food, surprising texture, and complex taste made us feel like going heaven. Every dish was complete set of food, and we felt as if we were appreciating art. We had never expected to...have sea urchin to be served outside of Japan (we are sea urchin lovers especially in SUSHI style) and it was nice challenge to cook for western way. Wines we ordered were mostly local ones which went very well with dishes. This is a worth to visit place when you are in San Sebastian.More

Not sure what it is officially, but we saw people in jeans and collared shirts the other day. I went with chinos, a shirt and a jacket, and a pair of Toms and felt fully comfortable with my choice
