Had booked this way in advance of our trip to Spain. Managed to get lunch on a Sunday as they close Sunday night through Tuesday. Spent 3 and a half luxurious hours at this sublime restaurant where we felt like honoured guests at a generous host's home. the multi course meal ( about 15, we lost count ) was memorable... More

If you hang 3 Michelin Stars over your entrance then there is for sure a massive expectation - I was not disappointed! I'm not going to say much else apart from the whole evening/experience was perfect, nothing more need be said

After the most awful experience in St Emilion at Hostellerie de Plaisance, Martin Berasategui was a wonderful delight. Though it is a little out of San Sebastian, it is definitely worth the drive. The service was attentive, the sommelier recommended excellent wine that complement the dishes from the tasting menu. We enjoyed every course - the flavours were complex yet... More

My wife's and my best meal in Spain and perhaps best meal ever in a Michelin starred restaurant. Service was impeccable. The tasting menu was to die for - very unique. The wine list was superb. The setting is modern and clean but spotless and does not distract. Be prepared, however, dinner is a fortune. I think we spent more... More

Well, the cheapest glass of wine costs 15 eur and any dessert is 32 eur. "Menu degustacion" 220 eur but if you check the quality of the food, the time it takes to prepare that kind of dish and how hard they try to make everything perfect I think its a money well spent.

A friend of mine insisted that I book a 3 michelin star restaurant when they heard I was going to San Sebastian and I'm so glad I listened. The service was spectacular throughout lunch and started the moment we arrived in our cab; it's a short fare from town - about 15 minutes. It was raining when we arrived and... More

Chef Martin Berasategui is the real deal! He took us on a culinary journey earlier tonight that we simply could not forget. From the amazing and innovative dishes that delighted our eyes and taste buds to the impeccable and personable service that paid attention to the tiniest detail like who among the diners is a leftie, this restaurant has earned... My husband and I had a great dining experience. We were able to get reservations for Thursday night dinner only 2 weeks in advance. The restaurant is about 20 min drive away from San Sebastian center and they made sure to call us a taxi when our meal was over. The service was impeccable - it was raining when we... More

I'm a lucky boy and I've been around the world in the name of food and I'm quite prepared to get slaughtered for this but...my friend and I left after 3 dishes! I'm known in my circle as 'the one that loves seafood' and spend most of my time in sushi bars - just in case you think seafood isn't... More
