Excellent food and service. Had an unforgettable battuta with parmesan, fried rabbit while my husband had a tasting menu with a panna cotta which was the best we ever had. Great location, the staff was lovely with our 2 children as well.

Definitely one of the best restaurants I have been in Italy! Food was amazing and perfect service! We have had a tasting menu and a gnocchi. After dinner, the chef came to talk to us to know our opinion and this was so pleasing. I strongly recommend here!

Very nice place, great food and very good service! Better call for reservation as it is rather small and obviously quite popular!!!

Il Verso del Ghiottone is one of our favourite restaurants in Piedmont – it ticks just about all of the boxes for us. The ristorante is spacious with interesting art gracing the walls, a private dining room for small family events and a very pleasant terrace and garden (a big draw for us in the summer). Another draw is the... More

The atmoshere, food and service can not be faulted. The evening was topped off by the Chef and staff all coming out after cooking such a wonderful meal only to meet and greet each table individually which made us feel very special. We wish the owner and his family the very best for the future and hope the "surf is... More

We probably couldn't have wished for a better last meal after 3 weeks of Italy. Piemonte cuisine but with a modern twist. It's hard to eat bad in Italy, but here the dishes are prepared in a Michelin * style. In upper-Dogliani we ended up here by surprise but loved the food, the kids as well (they loved the different... What a delicious meal as a gorgeous restaurant! The owners and chef are clearly passionate about their food. The homemade pasta was delicious and the soup fabulous. Really lovely and would definitely recommend.

It was in the center of Dogliani near the hospital (which looked like an old villa at nite). We had a wonderful dinner with a fine Barolo. Service was friendly and attentive and the menu was inventive. A restaurant for a special occasions since it was expensive but it delivered with a wonderful meal, a memory.

We came at 2 pm for lunch and were greeted with a warm welcome. Regards from the chef came with compliments, Home-made bread was served quickly and luke-warm. The spaghettini were a delicious meal and also the ravioli were very good. Giampiero is the star of the restaurant and you are in good hands if you follow his suggestions. Is... More

Although this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star it deffinitely deserves one. Fab Italian food with a modern twist and beautiful presentation. It's not cheap by italian standards but perfect for a special occasion

In the little streets of Dogliani Castello, away from traffic, a casually elegant restaurant, in a building of "700 with a beautiful garden-terrace.The kitchen is rooted in the tradition with a touch of personality and joins the "classics" of Langa with the quality of fresh fish, the smell of homemade bread and original desserts.
