That kind of restaurants are the reason that I prefer Italian food. No fireworks and trumpets. Just simple meals, made of great ingredians, homemade pasta and a magic tuch of their cooks. With nature red wine and a kind and knowladge full host. If there...is a heaven, it could not be far from this reastaurat. Bravo, bravo, bravo!More

Just enjoyed a superb meal here in this small family run restaurant. The pasta was simply terrific. We ate ravioli with a homemade tomato and basil sauce and a ‘spaghetti’ with funghi dish. Both were brilliant! Throw in a delicious amuse bouche slice of pizza...and follow it up with a stunning desert of ricotta and strawberries. Excellent house wine too. Delightfully friendly service as well. Best meal in Guardiagrele without a doubt!More

We were the only people dining there the October night we went. The owner/cook/waiter could not have been more charming despite speaking very little English. Several of the items on the small menu were unavailable -- probably because of the seasonal fall-off in trade, but...what we had was cooked to perfection (veal steak and lamb) . The house wine was excellent. Very good anti pasta too.More

The menu is very varied and contains many dishes that we haven't seen in other parts of Italy. The service is friendly and helpful. Worth remembering that the restaurant is not large and is usually busy so best to book if you can.

Came upon this place by accident, the food was great, fresh and plentiful. Nicola out front and his wife in the kitchen. Highly recommend a meal or two!

Equipped like a traditional guesthouse dining room, it has two different places, one for friends, the other for couples, private near the window. Definitely quick service in a family-run style. Excellent traditional dishes like horse meat, home-made veggies and pasta. Even the house wine was...great!More

On a cool April lunchtime, we opted for what was termed, restaurant serving typical local dishes. We were not disappointed. If you're vegetarian, could be a problem as even one of the bean dishes (pasta and chick peas), delicious though it was, had I suspect...a little carne (meat) lurking in there somewhere! No such problem with the spaghetti, cheese and tomato. We followed this with a local cake, chocolate and cherry and agin, first-class, as was the house red wine. Possibly because it was rather quiet, we were offered their home-made grappa, and whilst not a great fan of grappa, this was rather good. As for value, as so often in Italy (outside the main tourist spots), incredible. All-in-all, very good with excellent service. Molto grazie.More
