For straditional food in a traditional place, old brewery, this is a good place. Firendly waiters, correct prices.

Monday eve but full with locals. All regional dishes. Large portions. Very French. Informal or dressy. Excellent meal in lovely venue. Parking bad.

Ate here with friends and found the staff helpful and friendly. The menus of the day had lots of nice variety and the normal menu looked good too. The quantities are huge do don't outface yourself. We just had main courses and that was plenty. Ambiance very Alsacian, great but a bit loud. Not a place for an intimate meal.

Went there for dinner during one business trip in Strasbourg. This place is located 30-35 mins from the downtown but it's definitively worth paying a visit. They serve typical French and Alsatian food with very generous portions: I went for the cordon blue pané and I think I've got something like 400 grams of veal steak stuffed with ham and... More

The Fischerstub is in the suburbs, next door to the brewery of the same name, not in the historic centre of the city, but is well worth seeking out. It seems many people do, reservations very much advised. In nearly a week in Strasbourg, France it was the first time I could feel I was not eating in Germany. The... More

The food is really good and expect big potions. You can try here the traditional tarte flambee and other local courses and deserts. The ambiance is cozy, you can stay both inside or on the terrace and the staff is really accomodating and friendly. I would recommend to try the picon beer while here (a bit sweeter but strong). Enjoy!

The place is place in the old Alsatian brewery "Fisher", so, if you are a beer lover, you will be happy. Their cordon bleus are simply delicious, and sure that you won't leave the place hungry! Simply a "must-to-go" place while in Alsace!!!!

Our friend from Strasbourg has taken us to this place for dinner. It was a definitive winner. If you are looking for something typical but yet not too fancy this is the place to be. We have ordered the most traditional dish of all: the tart flambe (i hope i got it right:P) , the red pinot and the white... More

If you want to find a traditional and good restaurant in the suburbs of Strasbourg, the Fischerstub in Schiltigheim is the place. Heineken bought the Fischer brewery. The restaurant is near the old Fischer brewery and is a typical Alsatian building. The service is swift and friendly, the beer is really good and the food well cooked and tasty. The... More

Typical Winstub (alsacian restaurant) where you can order most of the traditionnal alsacian foods. The food is good and served in generous amounts (try to finish the cordon bleu, I dare you ! ^^). The place itself isn't very relaxing though : quite noisy and the staff work like they're in a assembly-line, so the service is fast but don't... More
