We had the tasting menu paired with wine. Local food and mostly local wine. Nice variations in food. Excellent prepaired and very tastfull. Very friendly staff and traditional provencal interieur. Er hope to be back!

Situated in a romantic XVIIIth century coaching inn in Chateau Anoux on the lavender paths between the French Alps and the Mediterranean, La Bonne Etape is a Michelin-starred restaurant serving sumptuous seasonal food. The historical hotel is surrounded by beautiful Provencal countryside and boasts a swimming pool and gorgeous gardens, and the decadent dining room at La Bonne Etape boasts exquisite table settings and is decorated in sunny, golden colours. Signature dishes at La Bonne Etape include the Sisteron lamb rosted in "hell oven" and its savory juice ; the stuffed zucchini flowers during the summer season, the famous hare "a la Royale", and the historic lavender honey ice cream in it's bee hive.
