Well, we were recommended this restaurant by our hotel, so we took the 30 minute bike ride to the beach to try it out. You can't argue with the location and the set up. We thought it was very stylish, with a very cosy terrace, with fires to keep you warm and a well designed, rustic interior in the restaurant... More

Nicely located next to the seaside, you can pamper yourself here with a fantastic view and great food. The taste is good and the portion is generous. Watch out that it can be very windy especially at night. Bring your jacket. Don't miss the starry night!

This place is situated on the beach, so the scenery is OK. Also the the decoration is fine. And there it stops. We visited this restaurant on July 26th with two families - four adults and six children. After not being seated for approximately 15 minutes, we asked a waiter for assistance. He rudely responded that he was busy and would get to us later. After being seated, we ordered water and drinks. The same rude waiter gave us a hard time... More

Take the bike trail along the north side of Ameland and at some point you will hit this little beach pavilion. The secluded terrace area, overlooking a natural phenomenon: the sand hook, is very nice. The restaurant indoors is simple but the food is terrific. Try the squid and you'll be back! ;-))
