Just would advice everyone to visit this place once to have a full meal. It is a sumptuous meal, very tasty and served with love. The sweet dish offered at the end is beyond words. Must visit.

Heard its a famous dhaba so drove all the way but its a very small dhaba with hardly seating of 10-15 people. Not really hygiene too. Cannot be easily located its at the curve/turn hence no stopping time or parking place. Didnt had food here...so can’t comment on food.More
The option to go for is the Thali. Food served fresh. Friendly service. Nothing fancy but you can make out that the ingredients are of quality. You can ask for refills for the Thali. Roti's are soft with ghee topped over them! Found salt to...be slightly more than I am used to though. This is a leisurely paced place so don't expect to start getting served minutes after you order. The idea is to relax and have a leisurely meal.More
This is a nondescript dhaba which you can easily miss if your cab driver does not take you there. We (or our cab driver) ordered a thali meal for us- comes with panner matar (both fresh with awesome taste), gobhi aaloo, khadi, daal makhani, raaita...and salaad (lots of fresh mulli). Hot chappatis and basmati rice. Everything was low on oil but amazing taste. To top it all- dessert was big chappati with gud which got caramelised. A MUST DO IF VISITING CHAIL.More
Even though the food was good, we were depressed with the attitude of the people running the restaurant. It was as though they had no interest in serving us and wanted us to get out as soon as possible. There was no use for the...menu since they offered only Aloo Paratha. Bad experiences make the quality of the food irrelevant.More
Its like how punjabi homes cook the food & serve , same way it is done here. lovely aroma of food & hygenic way of serving
If you want some home food, then you should visit this place. The dont have greate ambiance or sitting place but yes, they provide good quality and taste in their food.
This was the first time i tried any himachali food. They prepare the homely type food and offer great taste and variety of flavours. Loved it
This is just another dhaba. The dhaba is run by a family and what I heard is that they are highly qualified. The food served is just like home made food and does not have access oil or masala. The food has a Himachali touch....The taste is fine. They have a set menu and they serve it as a thali and quantity is unlimited. Ambiance is very regular with old tables & chairs. Nothing great. The highlight is the makki ki roti which is topped with specially prepared Jaggerry.More
We started from Kufri to Chail Palace around 2.30pm and did not have lunch as we were all feeling too full due to lot of snacking during the day. However, after 4pm, we started looking for an eating joint but there were hardly any on...the way. Finally, saw Soni Dhaba - Punjabi Tadka near Janedghat Bus Stand where 3-4 families (around 12-15 people) were already eating. This joint does not have a trendy look and serves only local or Punjabi food. We sat down for lunch and were amazed to have such an excellent food and fresh tawa rotis (indian bread) from the kitchen. Each one of us nearly overate. After the lunch, we were offered a local sweet dish - oven fresh roti + butter + crushed jaggery sprinkled over it - wow, what a taste!!! The total bill for 4 of us was Rupees 480 (including bottled water).More
