Taken there by a business contact so I can't judge whether is was good value for money. Mix of tapas as starters followed by a good beef stew. Local wine was excellent. Very friendly staff.

Over rated, over priced! Had a lunch which consisted of one small battered prawn on a stick each, one very small salad between two, one plate of flattened chicken with a sliced potato and I had a horrible paella which had no fish or chicken but great lumps of what I assumed were artichoke most of which was stringy, yet... From the outside it looks like a regular local cafe but it so much more than that. We went for dinner and the food was fabulous. I have severe allergies and their menu is quite small but they looked after us brilliantly. No actual menu to chose from, they simply bring out lots of plates of excellent food and v... More

Very hot day, looking for light lunch. Spotted this place in town, were made to feel most welcome. We were served our lunch in the bar and it was just what we needed. Good food freshly prepared and cooked. We will go back when in the area.

What a lovely little restaurant/cafe. We had the menu del Dia, which including wine and bread was €15. There is no menu as such, but the owner told us the choices of the day. We had the cod which was excellent. If you want a taste of Spain, well worth a visit.

Buen Yantar is typical of a small family run provincial café/bar and restaurant - the food is good, reasonably priced and the service is warm, friendly and unhurried. The owners and staff speak a little English, but Fuente Alamo is just a little off the tourist track, so although frequented by several local English families (like us) we always attempt... More

I have been visiting this restaurant for many years now. Clean, comfortable, with cafe style eating but at weekends dinner can be special...unusually good range of wines and always fresh fish, and a decent rare steak can be had here. It helps if you can speak Spanish here as the owner and his staff have little English. A menu exists;... More

We poped into this bar to shelter fom the incredible storms and floods in early October. The place doesn't look much from the outside but we were made very welcome by the staff. They have a great range of fresh tapas and some excellent wines. Its worth letting the staff select some local dishes to sample. Ask for the local... More
