Relaxed and kid-friendly, we're a great choice to eat in, with our comfortable atmosphere, but there are always options for the grab and go crowd. Great breakfast, hot drinks and baking. Friendly service and nice outdoor patio seating. Great to have such a good breakfast after camping! We had the breakfast with eggs, toast, hashbrowns and bacon. Their lunch menu was larger than the breakfast one and I’m sure their lunch is good too.

All day breakfast which we ate at 1:00 p.m.
Portions were adequate and we left satisfied. Staff were friendly and attended us very well. The premises was busy (even after lunch). Comfortable, easygoing atmosphere with a lunch counter ordering system.

Every time we travel to SW Alberta, we stop for breakfast/lunch at Stone's Throw. I note others have rated poor however we have always had a good meal. Yes maybe slow sometimes, however we are retired and have plenty of time. I really don't believe how some customers rate restaurants poorly...yes they aren't all a 10/10...if you want that, dine at the Hyatt for $200. Maybe we realize 100% perfect is not always expected. These small places barely make a living so give them a break please. I am not related or know the owners here, however we enjoy our stop, thank-you! Looking forward to next time down.

I read about how good Stones Throw Cafe was, so I decided to stop there with a couple of friends. The food was average, the prices were excessive and the service was slow and unfriendly. I must admit that I was very surprised this cafe wasn't much better.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered a wrap which was actually a pita or naan bread folded in half - too dry and wasn’t what I was expecting. Ordered an iced coffee which was average. Not sure if I’ll return.

A friend and I had lunch. It was not as fresh tasting as we wanted.
Soup tasted over salted/processed and sandwich meat was not fresh.
Something tasted off with grilled sandwich.... possibly margarine or omega margarine.
Very disappointed

I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed in your meal. Did you mention it while you were in store? We certainly would have made every effort to offer you an alternative. For 18 years the soups are homemade in house and we take a lot of pride in doing a delicious soup.
Our grilled sandwiches use vegan margarine. It might not appeal to all. Again, my apologies.

Had lunch here on Friday. I ordered the lunch special. The sandwich was good. The soup tasted good, but it was barely luke warm. Portions were small for the price. A little disappointed as I had eaten here a few years ago and was very impressed. Not impressed today

Hello, Sorry I somehow missed this review! We are certainly able to re-heat soup if it arrives not piping hot. I hope you asked us to do this for you as it's an easy fix!
We take a lot of pride in serving delicious food at a great price so I'm surprised at your comment about portion size/price. In any case, you are spoiled for choice for great options in Crowsnest Pass. Lots of great restaurants!

It alway pays to veer off the highway and explore the downtowns of little towns in the Crowsnest Pass area. Blairmore has a nice downtown, lots of historic buildings and little park with picnic tables. Across the street from the downtown park is this nice cafe. We needed a coffee for the drive home, and we very happy with the ones we got. The decor is really fun, and there's lots of space for social distancing. A good sign: they have buckets of water outside for those arriving with their dogs! Next time we're in this town, we'll try their food offerings.

We were looking for something a little different and found it in the wonderful Stone's Throw Cafe. It was simple, food was delicious, atmosphere eclectic and experience satisfying. Definitely recommend eating here.

What a cute wholesome friendly place to go for breakfast lunch or just a coffee and a treat. I just had their meatloaf grilled cheese sandwich. Wow! What a comfort food. Took me right back to my childhood! And to have it in such a homey place....perfect!
Clean space. Lovely artwork on the walls. Friendly staff.

I'm local, service wasn't steller. Food was good, watched an elderly lady leave without being served after 10mins...
The people who the staff knew by name were treated like royalty, me, we'll, I'm just a guy.
Like every place here in small town Alberta, I'll give it a second chance.

Loved this little cafe on Main Street as the owners were friendly and would always engage in conversation as they were preparing your homemade order. Sandwiches were made with fresh ingredients and very large!

Yum! I had the breakfast wrap and it was so tasty. So much flavour. The staff was so welcoming and it was great service. I even have a lot of food substitutions and no one cared. Phew.
