In the small village of Las Terrazas. This restaurant serves excellent vegetarian food (not something we saw often in Cuba). Worth a visit.

Our first drop-in lunchtime visit to La Romero was not a success. After placing our drinks order nothing happened, and we were stuck on an isolated table away from the main body of the restaurant and terrace. We eventually gave up, and when we managed to get someone's attention, cancelled the drinks and booked a table for the following day.... More

Vegetarian food, freshly and imaginatively prepared. Delicious! Restaurant hidden away in the housing estate, well worth seeking out. Booking a must.

The El Romero serves very tasty and modern vegetarian food, a rare alternative to the everyday cuban cuisin.

We loved this place. Although neither of us are vegetarian, the options on the menu were vast, and we tried things we wouldn't have had the chance to anywhere else. Great views (if you can get a table on the terrace), and we loved the fact that everything is grown within the commune

Great food with a significant choice - a rarity for vegetarians in Cuba. Quirky surroundings but good staff,

This is a great vegetarian restaurant with a good selection of food which is fresh, tasty and well presented. It's a bit more expensive than other restaurants but it's worth it. The bean pancakes were great but the highlight for me was the herb bread. It's so good you have to try it. You also get to choose the size... More

The best vegetarian restaurant I have ever been. I have been in several veggies restaurants in Madrid and London and I wish they will have the same level of quality as El Romero. Lovely service too. I eat meat and fish but I would love to have a restaurant like El Romero back home and I will be converted as... More

Inspired catering and fresh ingredients with a good location made this a highlight of our stay in las terrazzas. It seemed to support the 'eco' idea which the rest of the resort lacked. Staff were hard working and maybe their long hours meant they were a little short on smiles, but they did a great job. We ate here twice... More

My wife and I both ate here and got horrific food poisoning. We both at the same food and have been throwing up all night.
