If you take the L90 from Wynyard or drive along the coastal beaches this restaurant is the perfect destination for a visitor to Sydney. I recommend you first take the walk along the bay beach and climb Barrenjoey Headland to the lighthouse for one of...More

I don't like noise BUT The Boathouse is noisy because it is packed always. However, the atmosphere and food make up for the inconvenience. Everything is presented with class. A must for anyone visiting Palm Beach. (Remember to keep the parking meter fed) I have...More

We went on the queen's birthday around 9:45 and the restaurant was crowded with a line, but the line moved quickly. Not a bad idea to have someone you're with grab a table while you order. We sat outside and watched an airplane take off...More

Extremely long wait for food. When the food did come it was average at best, coffee was ok. For the price I was expecting something much better. I had heard good things however I must have been ill-informed.

Cool and groovy place, prepare to queue for food, and then the same to get a table, most probably in the sun, then you queue for the toilet again, that's how cool it is, everybody is here! Food not bad, mediocre, nice view, on the...More

Better known as a location on "Home and Away" this was a delightful place for lunch. All hustle and bustle but fast service with food of the highest quality.I had fish and chips and they were sensational.

We have been here a few times and always find it enjoyable, a friendly casual atmosphere. A nice blackboard menu from which to Order at the counter. A small but adequate wine list completes the relaxed setting, great views out on the water to West...More

This place is great, it's one of the locations where Home and Away is filmed. It's Alf's bait shop in SummerBay. Right on the waters edge. Good menu, the meals are very nice as in the wine. We were lucky enough to be here when...More

We frequent the Boathouse in Balmoral quiet frequently and went up to the Palm Beach location for the second time last weekend. The food is exceptional. Great variety, consistently and perfectly executed (which is incredible given that they seem to be constantly busy!) and able...More

Went here for brunch. No reservations but we were lucky enough to nab a table on the deck. Really nice being on the water. A bit of a queue to get food but generous serves and very good when it arrived. A bit pricey but...More

There is, but the spots might not be free. My advice? If you need close parking be ready with Plan B in case you can't park close. Or go with someone who can drop you at the front and then park. There is a ramp at the side... More
