We called at this quaint cafe for a drink and snack on Easter Sunday. Due to the fact it was Easter and a cold day it was very busy down stairs and sadly the only table free was blocked by a buggy., so we headed upstairs to be greeted by a room full of noisy and arrogant cyclists a few... More

We had a quick snack lunch here and selected the soup of the day which was served with a choice of fresh bread. Simple food prepared and served well.

Everything was tasty, served quickly and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and efficient. The... More

This charming café is situated in a quirky old building which exudes atmosphere and charm. The simple but delicious food brings a smile weather on a cold WInter's day when one is warmed by the food on the inside and by the fire on the outside or a hot Summer's day when one can sit outside and enjoy the peace... Whenever we visit Montgomery, we have a snack or lunch at the Castle Kitchen. You enter through a small delicatessen where you can buy local bread, along with cheeses and a variety of other fine foods. The restaurant is small, on two floors and usually busy, with a log burner downstairs, and with a small patio at the rear for... More

Lovely flat white coffee & very sweet flapjack. I sat upstairs with a view of the square and saw most of the tables were reserved for lunch.

Whenever we visit Montgomery, we always try to have lunch at the Castle Kitchen, where the home cooked food is always excellent, cooked and served by a team of cheerful, friendly and efficient ladies in the kitchen. The restaurant is small, on two floors and usually busy, cosy in the winter with a log burner, and with a small patio... More
