Came hear for a birthday meal with some friends, the food was excellent with a lot of choice. Service was very good and nothing seemed too much trouble. With a good choice of wines and beers you are spoilt for choice. Would recommend this pub and will certainly be going back.

Although I live locally, I have not visited The Miners Arms in many years however as it is under new management/ownership, I thought I would give it a try last weekend. I wanted somewhere to take my adult daughter, son and his girlfriend to lunch that would be good quality yet relatively close-by and therefore visited here lunchtime Saturday 15th.... More

Was up on the Sunday. My children had a great day in the park and dancing along to the bands playing, the easter egg hunt, the bouncy castles and face painting (which were all free for the children). The food was amazing and fantastic service. Stunning views. Would highly recommend to any one.

Love this place. Highly recommend it but wow how disappointed by the customer service. What I think is the new "manager" spoke to me like I was something on the bottom of her shoe. The other poor waitress was embarrassed and apologised for her. Shame. I am a regular but this has put me off

I booked a table for a family Sunday lunch for three generations. However when booking the team failed to mention there was a beer festival going on. We found ourselves on the one side trying to have a lovely family Sunday lunch and then directly outside a band, BBQ and beer tent. Which really was quite rowdy. Quite bizarre. It... More

Eaten here twice recently, once with friends and once with family. We live near to it and can remember when it was just a pub. Having stunning views towards Plymouth, they extended with a large conservatory and some comfortable outdoor seating and upgraded all their menus. It's fairly easy to get to once you've negotiated a couple of country lanes... More

Service was slow, some of the veg and potato's were cold. Although in nice surroundings the food was average for the price.

We were really looking forward to our family Sunday lunch after seeing good reviews but was disappointed. The portions were small for the price (£15 for 3 small slices of lamb, 3 potatoes and a large luke warm yorks pud, plus shared veg tray). The veg was poor and not enough per person, we had to ask for another as... More

Impromptu visit to this jewel of a country pub. Sat in the well manicured gardens whilst enjoying a great pint of Guinness and Lovely chilled wine. Followed by a fantastic meal in the restaurant, the mussels where simply the best I have had. The service was friendly but not intrusive. Overall an amazing experience, one which will be repeated. So glad we got recommended this place after moving to Plymouth recently. I love pub food and the environment and this place is perfect! Food was delicious, my husband and I shared pate, followed by haddock for myself which was served with a beautiful curry sauce. My husband had a burger which looked and tasted good too, and the chips... More
