This is some of the best French food I've eaten anywhere in France. This is traditional French food but not afraid to try new ideas. Everything is just so. For the quality of the food it is excellent value. If you like cassoulet, then go for it, but if not there is plenty to choose from. They dont open every... More

Good tradional French food, had two large parties of diners in but still took time to look after couples. Nice set menus at reasonable prices. Will definitely eat here again.

Had the plat d'jour 3 courses reasonable price and good value for money. A Quiet, dated french restaurant.

The decor of the resatuarant makes me think of a (very large) French farmyard kitchen - black and white tiles; fireplace; wooden tables and chairs. We had the cassoulet menu which is good value at 22 euros (especially given the a la carte prices) but not for the faint-hearted: four courses including an excellent and filling cassoulet. My husband does... More

I like this restaurant; in many ways it is like stepping back into the 1950s, but then again, for a French restaurant, this is no bad thing! The food is solid provincial fare, and quite delicious; no "nouvelle cuisine" here. The menu is interesting, the wine list quite adequate, and the whole experience delightfully French. As, of course, it should... More

We are here Friday lunch, by accident really because the restaurant across the road doesn't open for Friday lunch (!). It was really nice. Nice clean big airy room. Good service. Very reasonably priced. Nice French food. The moule salad as part of the menu du journey was great. We'll be back!

This hotel restaurant is situated near the railway station. The dining room has an excellent ambience - quiet and typically French.with large windows which make the room seem very light and airy. The service we enjoyed was excellent, the food was beauitifully prepared, well presented and cooked to perfection. The set menus are excellent value My wife avowed that the... More

Four of us had dinner in this restaurant which is very popular with the town residents. Having only been here for lunch in a large group once previously didn't know what to expect. The food was excellent, nicely presented, the atmosphere quiet and very pleasant.

Disclaimer: I live in this town. Lovely dining room run by a small team. The only problem is to find out when they are open as the guvnor will open and close as suits them......which is fair enough.... ,,,,but, if you get in.......excellent! Not Michelin starred but just really good and tasty French cooking by a guy who knows what... More
