Amazing place for breakfast and deserts. We ended up going there daily because we liked it too much. A little peculiar system of self service since you order at the counter and take the things that are ready right away but get a remote numbered buzzer to notify you to go and get when something needs preparing. Everything is suplied in delivery boxes so you can take them with you but the shop also has an amazing outdoor space beautifully decorated so you can sit and eat there. Food, desserts were amazing. First time that everything we tried in a shop was 4 to 5 star rating consistently. Dont forget to buy local traditional deserts which are amazing and can be given as gifts when you go back home!

Went here twice, should have gone all 4 days we stayed in Pollonia. Breakfasts made to order were amazing, then go for the daily pastries and homemade limoncello, smoothies, sandwiches…my mouth is watering just thinking of it. Shade in the back (with kitties) for breakfast or lunch, and friendly, quick service in the bakery for takeaway. Walkable to anywhere in Pollonia.

Before I go to this cafe - patisserie, I had heard it is famous about its "galaktompoureko", "sokolatopita" and "portokalopita". I had the chance to visit it just 2 times and I confirm the fames about galaktompoureko and sokolatopita - I needed a 3rd one to taste the portokalopita.. Both were fresh and tasty! Especially the galaktompoureko I had the chance to eat it hot and it was unbeatable. But, honestly, whatever was in this shop, seemed delicious! They have also sealed products, ready to gift them! And as I saw you can enjoy a breakfast there, at their traditional, cool and so beautiful yard! When I visit Milos again, I 'll go to kivotos again and again and again... Congratulations to its owners! Great job!

I have found the place on someone’s blog before going back to Milos second time in a row, when my husband and I wanted to visit different spots on the island we missed last year. It really was a great find! I felt like hitting the wonderland with brilliant herbs, olive oil and other olive oil and honey/bee wax products! We came back twice for both the products and the atmosphere in such a lovely garden behind the pastry shop. We also tried watermelon pie - a specialty of the island and it was delicious. Last but not least - the girl who works there was more than helpful to explain every single question I had, and boy, did I have them! She was smiling and was very patient as much as the young man at the till, despite the humidity, heat and a lot of tourists they needed to handle. A great place with great people working there.

I've been to Kivotos twice - once with my parents 2 years ago, and again this year with my two best friends. The first time I was completed in shock by how good the chocolate cake was, and this time it was even better than I'd remembered. Everything else we tried was incredible as well, even my best friend who is "not a dessert person" was obsessed - just be prepared to have the best chocolate cake of your life. All the locals we spoke with said that they order their special occasion cakes from Kivotos. They have a new-ish coffee bar that they've added, and it's delicious, too!

MUST try when in Pollonia. Sweet and savoury treats, local products, freddo espresso needs a bit of work though..
The lemon/raspberry cake was divine. Bread sticks really fresh, ladenia very good. Well done to the family and members running it.

During the short break in Pollonia we were here several times, for the ladenia (typical focaccia of Kimolos), an exquisite chocolate cake, tea and coffee for breakfast, to be enjoyed in the little garden that seems to have come straight out of fairyland. Inside the shop you can find fresh or packaged typical products, while the bar only opens in the morning, which is a shame, because we would have gladly used it in the afternoon too. A place to definitely try.

Have visited the cafe on the 26th of August to buy coffee to go and traditional products.
Staff has been very friendly and polite.
There is big variety of homemade products such as traditional sweets, herbs, alcoholic beverages.
There is a beautiful yard to sit outside and enjoy what ever you buy.

Very nice flavors and lots of products to choose from. Beautiful and relaxing place to enjoy your coffee!
However, what you get includes plastic packaging. Plastic teaspoons, boxes for your candy, glass for your coffee etc. I expected greater environmental sensitivity for such a beautiful, drowned in the green place.

My wife and I heard of this place having a perfect Milos' specialty, watermelon pie, and we decided to give it a try. It was more than delicious. As a matter of fact we were coming back there from the south of the island just to have another piece of it. My wife also found some spices and cosmetics so that was our special place where we enjoyed our food provided by helpful staff in the unique garden of theirs.

We went here for breakfast on the recommendation of a local. They have a variety of cakes and pastries for breakfast, I tried the orange cake and the milk cake both delicious. The portions are generous. Two slices of cake and 2 juices €20, prices for tourists

Just loved this place. Located in the heart of Pollonia, a five minute walk from the beach. We would go early in the morning and buy pastries for the day. We also had breakfast here one morning in the garden. Delicious pastries, good coffee, great service and reasonable prices. They also sell local Greek food and local treats. This is a combination cafe/take-away and deli style place. Just fabulous. Make sure you visit on your first day so you know the potential of this place for your entire visit to Pollonia. If you arrive by car, there is a large adjacent carpark which is helpful given the narrow roads. Highly recommended!

What a delicious place!!! We had a villa within 200 metres and walked to this heavenly bakery/cafe daily. The hot rice pudding, airy bougutsa, spiral cheese pies, creamy yogurt and great coffee with a selection of milks was a standout in Pollonia. Loved it💚

Ran into this place by accident one morning on my hunt for a good coffee. What a surprise it was. The shop is filled with deliciousness. We only visited for breakfast and the courtyard is perfectly shaded to enjoy the great food. Don't miss this place.

As we were in Milos for 4 days, we ended up going here a few times. It’s really only a 3-4 minute walk from the main town intersection and definitely worth it.
We tried a number of the baked goods and there is a big variety. Everything was great. The “chocolate pie” which, is more like a cross between a brownie and pudding was excellent. We also bought some honey and marmalade to take home with us, both are very nice.
Sadly, I have few pictures, the food didn’t last very long.
