Six of us went for dinner to Le Cordon because I had read some nice reviews about it on line. The reviews were right! The food was excellent and the service friendly. Two of us had the oven baked pizza that everyone raves about on...line. One pizza was just a plain cheese pizza and the other one was a shrimp pizza and boy was that pizza ever loaded down with shrimp! Pretty impressive! The crust was thin and crisp on both of them and the sauce on the pizza was plentiful and delicious. Two of us had the ribs because, again, reviews said they were amazing and they were. They were meaty, juicy, saucy and fall-off-the-bone tender. They were accompanied by excellent fries and delicious coleslaw. Someone in our group had the lasagne, again, an excellent choice and someone else had penne in a delicious, thick marinara sauce. Sadly we were too full for dessert because our waitress, Nathalie, informed us that all desserts were homemade and delicious. We’ll just have to leave room for dessert on our next visit.More

I was there for a very late lunch-3 pm! My friend and I ordered one pizza to share and it was plenty. We had the vegetarian which was chock full of veggies and great sauce. It also had a thin crust which I love. Will...go back.More

If you’re not looking for an exotic pricey meal, this is the place. Large menu, meals in the $10-20 range, decent food. English- or French- friendly. Brick oven pizza, steaks, sandwiches and more.

Le Cordon is in a working class area and is very crowed Monday to Friday at lunch and any night there is a hockey game. The food is not fancy but very good. The servers have been there for many years and are very friendly....The pizza is one of their specialties as they have a wood fired pizza oven; better go before the city bans wood ovens. I have eaten there many times and the food and service was always good.More

Bad experience on a Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm. It smelled of cigarette smoke as we walked in. The painting over our table had white dust on the dark frame. In front of the wood burning stove, we watched a girl prepare our pizzas while she...was fiddling with her hair, then the chef, without his apron, pitched in to help her without having washed his hands. My daughter remarked that her margarita pizza had dried basil on it and not fresh basil. The waitress brought our soda pop drinks in open cans with a straw in it. After requesting glasses, my glass had lipstick marks on it. My vegetables were lukewarm, but the shrimp was good. For 3 soda pop cans, 2 pizzas & a butterfly shrimp plate, it cost us $70, tax & tip included for 3 people. The service was quick but next time we want fast food, we're going to a franchise. I will no longer be listening to Mike Cohen's recommendations from newspaper articles from The SuburbanMore

Been to Bistro many times now and it's always good food at a reasonable price. If you like your chain restaurants then this is one of the better ones without a doubt. The staff for most part are very friendly and helpful and work really...hard in a very busy restaurant.More
