Lots of great choices for lunch...make your own sandwich and choose your bread, your main ingredient, toppings and extras. A choice from 2 wonderful gourmet soups, and you can have a soup and half a sandwich. Everything is made with care and it is as...fresh as can be. The staff are very pleasant and are efficient and helpful.More

A friend took me here. It is a soup and sandwich place. Just had a make your own sandwich, choosing the bread, the meat, the toppings [the works an option] and the sauce. It was a quality cajun chicken with the works and horse radish...sauce on multigrain bread sandwich. The place had lots of energetic young staff. You could sit inside, out on a patio or in a glass enclosed room. There is a bakery on site as well. The limited menu works well.More

I was impressed, one of the nicest lunches I have had. They just switched to ordering at the table with a waitress and that helps make the meal more enjoyable....and our waitress was really good, fast, efficient, helpful, pleasant. You have about 10 choices of...bread, 10 meats or egg salad, 10 toppings, and sauces.....all made to order and fantastic...and the soups are sensational. A half a sandwich, a small cup of soup, and a date square made for a perfect lunch. Wander around and find some bread or baked goods to take home....I took 2 cottage cheese cannolis which were extraordinary, light and fluffy and filled with flavor.More

Delightful place for lunch and lovely assortment/choices for soup and sandwiches. Also great for takeout of baked goods such as breads, rolls and daily loaf cakes!

Six of us had lunch. It was the first visit for two of us in the group. Nice selection of bread and fillings for sandwiches. The bread was fresh and lots of filling - I had the Egg Salad. The dining-room is large and bright....A great spot for lunch!More

Great assortment of baking goods! The bread is awesome, and is still warm when you buy it. I only saw friendly people who give a great and friendly service. Just go buy there for a cup of coffee and a treat!!

We attended a breakfast networking event for the Lincoln Chamber in Grand Oak's new and beautiful indoor event space. We very much appreciated the Chef's plant-based culinary experience for us; vegetable frittata, peach scone, fresh fruit, and granola with oat milk - absolutely delicious! Bravo!

Got off the highway to stop for a bowl of soup for lunch at 1:30pm. After waiting in line was told soup was sold out. I was going to order a turkey sandwich instead but they no longer carry that, too expensive I was told...last time I wasted my time going here. I was going to get a pie to go but only 1 left and not the one I wanted. Unless you want lunch at 11am don't waste your time or call ahead. If soup is normally sold out before 1pm why not make more! It can be stored in fridge or freezer, common sense!!More

The sandwiches and soups are fabulous and very reasonably priced. All sandwiches are made to order with any type of bread, meat, toppings, etc. Everything was extra fresh and tasty.

We come here all the time and over the past couple of years we have asked the chef to make us some custom anniversary meals. This year was the best yet! We got a picnic for both of us since it’s Covid and you can...go in anywhere. Will keep going here and we also love the sandwiches!More

Two delicious quiches with spinach, veggie and feta hit the spot and the chicken soup with rice was outta sight. I admit a touch of disappointment in my red pepper soup which though pureed, lacked the creamery element and a solid peppery flavour. The staff...was pure friendliness and I sampled a bit of delicious hot chili cheese from a strong selection at the cheese bar. All covid protocols were in full force with lots of sanitizers around and about and our table was well off the beaten track. Newcomers soon realize that you have to seat yourself, order your meal and then get your table, while filling out an info form which is standard.More

I was recently tasked to organize lunch for 11 church leaders, and was delighted to enlist Grand Oak to provide it. As a long-time patron I knew that everyone would be bowled over with the homemade soups, sandwiches and delectable desserts, and as expected, it...was a hit! The oohs, aahs and accolades abounded, with everyone planning to check out this local culinary treasure for themselves! I highly recommend the Grand Oak not only as a lunch destination, but for off-site events, too. Thanks to the wonderful staff who were so helpful in sorting out the details!More

Having been unable to get coffee at the restaurant where we had lunch, we stopped here. The coffee is good, and the pecan square I had was excellent. The ambiance is pleasant, and the prices are very fair. Recommended.
