We come here all the time and over the past couple of years we have asked the chef to make us some custom anniversary meals. This year was the best yet! We got a picnic for both of us since it’s Covid and you can...go in anywhere. Will keep going here and we also love the sandwiches!More

Two delicious quiches with spinach, veggie and feta hit the spot and the chicken soup with rice was outta sight. I admit a touch of disappointment in my red pepper soup which though pureed, lacked the creamery element and a solid peppery flavour. The staff...was pure friendliness and I sampled a bit of delicious hot chili cheese from a strong selection at the cheese bar. All covid protocols were in full force with lots of sanitizers around and about and our table was well off the beaten track. Newcomers soon realize that you have to seat yourself, order your meal and then get your table, while filling out an info form which is standard.More

I was recently tasked to organize lunch for 11 church leaders, and was delighted to enlist Grand Oak to provide it. As a long-time patron I knew that everyone would be bowled over with the homemade soups, sandwiches and delectable desserts, and as expected, it...was a hit! The oohs, aahs and accolades abounded, with everyone planning to check out this local culinary treasure for themselves! I highly recommend the Grand Oak not only as a lunch destination, but for off-site events, too. Thanks to the wonderful staff who were so helpful in sorting out the details!More

Having been unable to get coffee at the restaurant where we had lunch, we stopped here. The coffee is good, and the pecan square I had was excellent. The ambiance is pleasant, and the prices are very fair. Recommended.

Well i like the location and it looks pretty, but nothing sspectacular. The menu is basic soup, salad and sandwiched which are over priced....Why? Its just lettuce, tomato, and some lunch meats....... Soups are also a little pricy and they dont come with a bun...or scone or anything. the bowl is never really full just half or less....... The desserts are nice but nothing specatcular...... Service had a smile but super slow and when your waiting on your lunch makes it difficult to digest........ Long story short.......Pretty place, slow service, decent food......but over priced and small quantities for my liking........i just expext more from a 10 soup or sandwich...... For this reason you get a 2 star!More

Nice selection of gluten free breads and treats. Even some gluten free and dairy free desserts (The cream puffs were yummy) .

Their selection of soup and sandwiches are great and taste so home made. Atmosphere is comfortable and a neat place to browse and shop for extra treats

Great hearty sandwich and homemade soup. This is casual dining. Food is excellent. I usually get 1/2 sandwich and soup while my husband will get a full sandwich (which are piled with wonderful filling of your choice).
