We had many meals and takeaways from here. due to business and travel we have not been back for a while. On our last visit we were a bit disappointed.

First class food from a first class chef. Everything was perfect. Extra touches made this a pleasurable dining experience

Usually when we visit family in Nairne we get take away from Chingari, but tonight we decided to dine in. We loved the gracious hospitality and the atmosphere and, as usual, the food was delicious! Great service as well. A thoroughly enjoyable evening which we plan to repeat.

After moving into Nairne recently we decided to try Chingari. Not being a huge fan of Indian cuisine I felt at home as soon as we walked in. The host was such a lovely man and explained everything to us and was more than happy to chat and tell us some of his life stories. The food I have to... More

Have the highest praise for the Chingari. Authentic spices and dishes, nicely presented. A good range to satisfy any lover of fine Indian food, ranging from no heat to very hot - never to the detriment of flavour. My favourite is the lamb with spinach.

We both eat in and buy take away on a reasonably regular basis. I believe that the clims that it is the best Indian restaurant in Australia are 100% true. Service is excellent but the food is just another level above.

I'm a grumpy old man who never gives tips. Tonight for the first time ever I visited the Chingrai with a party of of 7. On arrival we were confronted by a huge wedding party who were arriving at the same time and who completely filled the main room of the restaurant. Nevertheless we were warmly greeted by a staff... Friendly, affordable and amazing food. Great service with a smile. Often you get extras that are not ordered or billed for. If you are in the hills and fancy a good curry in a family run restaurant this is the place. Go there!

At first, we lived in Nairne back in 2008, near Chingari, we tried it once, was amazing.. I had never ate Indian until then, so I assumed all Indian food was great, so we went to a few places around Adelaide and everywhere else was a huuuuuge disappointment! As it was NO WAY NEEEEAR as good as CHINGARI!!! Chingari is... More
