We came in by accident looking for shelter from the rain and surprisingly had the best dining experience in our West-Europe trip. We were a party of four and every one of us ordered something different: fish, beef, chicken, calamari. We shared and I must say that every dish was superb but with mine I had this "Anton Ego moment"... More

I'm somewhat puzzled by the lacklustre reviews of this restaurant here on Tripadvisor. Maybe it is because the place is a bit of a misnomer as the poulet (chicken) in the name is definitely not the best plate on the menu. Maybe it's because the food can't be filed under "fine dining". But don't worry, neither can the price. What... More

Took non-Portuguese family and friends to this restaurant only to have a very disappointing and embarassing experience. With exception of the wine (overpriced) starters and main dishes were far from any average good portuguese food i know. The steak of the house (bitoque) was uneatable so hard it was, the pork with clams looked and tasted heated food, the cod dish... I went there with same friend for dinner and I found it nothing special. the inside of the restaurant is very big and spacious but not elegant . we had all the chicken , their specialty, but i found the portions tiny and the chicken was not the best grilled chicken I had. The service was nice , the people... More

With the wide range of Portuguese restaurants in Brussels, I was frankly expecting more. The fish soup was extremely salty, the vinho verde so overpriced (almost 20 EUR for a bottle that can be bought at the supermarket for 6 grand)

The service is really good and the food is amazing. They don't accept any cards, so just bring money. But it's worth to go there. Well positioned near Place Flagey.

I did not think that the food or atmosphere at this Portuguese restaurant (which does not only serve chicken) was particularly memorable. Brussels has many Portuguese restaurants but this is not one of the better ones.

The specialty of this place was chicken, but a long time ago. Now its portuguese menu contains first bacalhau (quite good), with several varieties. The house vinho verde is cheap and quite acceptable. The decor is not beautiful but rather basic portuguese. Service is friendly, and prices OK. After that, if you need sun, you can have a drink at... More

Le Roi Du Poulet is pretty much what you would get in a decent restaurant in Portugal. I had the "bacalhau a braz" many times and have never been disappointed. They also do a very decent paella. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.

It is a simple place that serves excellent food. Since we discovered it we have become regulars. Everything is nice, but if you are a cod lover like me you will enjoy it in so many different ways. The Madison one and the bacalao a bras are remarkable. Friendly staff and reasonable price. Love it
