Very fine dinning at a reasonable price . I have been coming to this restaurant for the past couple of years a d it is never a disappointment in terms of food and equally important in terms of service also , over the time I met Alassane and David who waited on and I also had the pleasure to meet the chef Fabrice . I highly recommend this place for an enjoyable evening and dinner experience and please ask for those two waiters either Alassane or David , they will take excellent care of you and by the way everything on the menu is fabulous, my favorite is the mussels . Enjoy !!!

Probably the best restaurant of this quarter of Saint-Gilles if you analyse it is quite impossible to find an empty table. A lot of regular customers are used to reserve a table there and we have seen a lit of couples, friends and families enjoying the warm welcome and service in a cosy atmosphere. The owner places everybody and looks at every plate out from the kitchen as a dad would do it to let his family enjoying the best quality of food and service. Staff lavishes attention to make the experience of customers excellent. Food was excellent, fresh and served quite fast (about 20 minutes even if 70 seats were occuped in this full booked restaurant). We will come back for sure when we will popup to Brussels 😊

Nice down to earth place good mussel and fries. We ordered beef stew quite happy with the food and wine can go with 1/4 1/2 or full bottle, nice option when you don’t need a full bottle. The first waiter sent us bread with empty butter package which is aweful and when told them they gave us fresh one and did not spoil our dinner

I'm vegetarian and found both the food and service poor. There were very few vegetarian options on the menu. I had to wait a long time for a very basic dish of aubergine in tomato sauce with cheese and it was overcooked to the point of being charred. The salad I'd ordered to go with it was late arriving (they seemed to forget I'd ordered it and when I reminded them it still took ages to arrive) and when it did arrive it was not the one I ordered. I won't go back.

Delightful, authentic, friendly bistro restaurant in the heart of Brussels, with excellent service from my waitress Amime. I was made to feel very comfortable, especially as a solo woman, and given a warm welcome. The food was super. I had a special 'Asparagus season' dish - wonderful veg and salmon combo accompanied by warm bread to start with, and Belgian chips with the dish. Cooked perfectly, with a beautiful sauce, and glass of house wine. Lots of other traditional and modern Belgian dishes on the menu as well. I loved the decor of the restaurant - walls decorated with paintings and photographs of the artists and musicians that give the place its name. It wasn't noisy which is so important - lovely ambiance, very relaxing.

Always use this platform to check out the restaurants and once again it came up trumps. Wanted mussels and was told by the waiter they would be the best mussels around. He want wrong! My wife and I went for two different types - white wine and garlic/cream and both packed flavour. You also get a very generous serving. Hospitality was excellent, particularly our waiter who was very attentive without being ‘in your face’. Thoroughly recommend.

Great service. Food is always wonderful. The Mussels bowl is so filling, make sure you come with an empty stomach. Amina was my server and she was attentive and delivery was prompt. I've never had a bad experience.

I made reservations for 7:30. We were seated inside immediately upon arrival. Service was good. The server brought my Leffe blonde beer and Donna’s Verra Vin without delay. We enjoyed the airy atmosphere with the open door and windows. Noise level is moderate. My grilled salmon, beans, carrots, and broccoli was very good. My Salmon was grilled just right and the Béarnaise sauce was not too salty. The side of French fries was what I expected and did not disappoint either. My fries came with tartar sauce but were already very good without sauce. Donna had the Carbonnades Flamandes, or Flemish Beef Stew. It was delicious. Also, the side vegetables were very good. The meal was very good despite our server dropping Donna’s baked potato. He immediately ordered another and it was brought without much wait. The total was 68.80 plus tip.

Great restaurant overall - good service, decor, and food. Ample outdoor seating, and the inside was comfortable with a many musicians honored on the walls. House beer brew was very refreshing, and paired nicely with the snack plate featuring cheese, salami chunks, pickles, and onions. Could've used some extra bread or crackers though. Main course was a soft and delicious tenderloin steak that was very well prepared. The side of vegetables was particularly nice. Fries and Bearnaise sauce were a bit under-seasoned. Service was responsive and jovial on a busy Saturday. We made a reservation, but there was some space inside so it may not have been necessary.

We arrived in Brussels at 10 pm, checked into our hotel, and went out in search of restaurants that were open. By the time that we arrived here, we were turned down by 3 other restaurants that said the kitchen had just closed. We inquired at Le Rendez Vous des Artisans and were greeted warmly and told they would serve us. At this time, it was almost 11 pm, but they kept the kitchen open for us. Everyone was SO kind and welcoming. Honestly we were so hungry that we didn’t really care how high-quality the food was, but we were very pleasantly surprised. My husband had the rabbit and I had the bolognese spaghetti, and both were phenomenal. This restaurant is on the same street as our hotel, and we are so pleased. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality! Great first meal in Brussels!

I was recommended this restaurant by a fellow beer aficionado. All though I enjoy wine there are occasions where you want to pair good food with beer. And here there are enough beers to choose on the menu and the wine lovers in our party also got their food paired with lovely wine. The wine list was equally good as the beer selection. Even though the drinks are important at a dinner it is the food that is most important or else you could go to a pub or a bar. We were 9 people and had a variety of starters, main courses and desserts. Both meat and seafood. My choice was calamari, entrecôte and chocolate mousse and I was more than pleased with my choice. The cherry on the pie was our waiter Alex. Always present with a smile on his face and with a very good sense of humour. I have gotten a favourite restaurant in Bruxelles and will for sure book a table here the next time I'm in town. I will give my best recommendations to the chef and the staff. The service is second to none. Chapeau.

Went for dinner with my friend at this great restaurant. Great service, a friendly team working here, delicious food, great vibe, perfect prices. Will definitely be back. Definitely come here if you're visiting Brussels. We had some classic Belgian dishes which were delicious so if you're looking for local traditional dishes this is perfect. There is a big menu with lots to choose from

Good food and friendly service in the centre of Brussels. Close to the shopping of Avenue Louise, a nice, Paris style brasserie with a large choice menu at reasonable prices. Recommended!

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident as we had very little time. We were greeted by very friendly staff where the atmosphere was really great. We chose the beef stew with fries. The beef was absolutely cooked to perfection and was so tasty. We also had a starter of a variety of cheese and ham which was very good. The food we noticed on other tables also looked delicious. We definitely would recommend this restaurant.
