I was here a few days ago. Because we arrived early we were the first guests so we could choose a table near the window and the heating. I had a vegetarian couscous and my companion a couscous with chicken. The vegetable sauce was rather spicy which is quite unusual. Things cannot really go wrong with couscous and this wasn't... There are lots of bars and little restaurants in St Gilles. It is really difficult to pick one as most places look ordinary. This restaurant had a menu 3 services for 14,50 euros. It seemed like a gamble, but then again, difficult to go wrong with couscous. To my surprise, service was good and the food even better. Generous portions,... More

If you wanna go for a real mediterranean dinner, you have to go there. Food is really good and service too. The owner manage to satisfy requests for a vegan and came back to be sure that everything was fine. Among the maroccan places in the street, it is my favourite. And the price is good for Brussels standards.

Nice small place in st gilles. They have cous cous, tajines and grillades. Everything is homemade and simple. The owners are kind and helpful. Recommended

The food is fresh and “homemade” style: only fresh and tasty ingredients, all cooked in a careful but non-pretentious way that make you fell comforted and happy. The staff is helpful and nice and you have to taste the Portuguese wine….Relaxed and comfortable environment. A must go if you are nearby and enjoy good homemade Marroquin food. Good relation price-quality.

Nice little restaurant with a simple menu. The lamb tajine was delicious. Really full of taste. If you like Moroccan food, don't hesitate and make sure you go and give this great place a try.

Cozy little restaurant, friendly service, good couscous, acceptable prices. It doesn't always need to be extraordinary to be worth a visit!

A basic restaurant but well worth visiting. Selection of cous cous and tagine, last had tagine 2 years ago and tried cous cous merguez this time. Both were good. About 40 euros for 2 with drinks.

Chez Mimoun offers pretty good but not exceptional couscous and tajines in big portions. I had a couscous royal with excellent meat and ok vegetables. For some reason raisins and chickpeas were served separately, which probably explains why the taste of the vegetable stew wasn't very complex or subtle. My friend had a very good sweet chicken tajine. The house... More
