The place is roomy, with aesthetic classic decoration and the atmosphere friendly, cheerful and informal, but respectable. The place is very popular and it’s recommended too reserve in advance. Restaurant is serving a nice variety of delicious traditional dishes, most of them based on fish and seafood with the flavors of the Mediterranean cuisine. The courses are very tasty, esthetically presented and relatively generous. The service was welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The food here is great and the service is super professional. We stumbled upon it by chance. What a great find. We came for the business lunch I had a tuna steak - huge!!! So perfectly done. The salads and bread as starters are wonderful....This is the picture of the sugar free dessert. In all a super lunch. What a great way to celebrate birthday!More

Went for a family dinner at 7 pm. Found out that they have live music at 9 pm. Unfortunately they tuned their musical insyruments while we were eating and it was horrible. Food is ok, average, not very refined. Service was poor.

Based on 2 visits. Service is more than "good", but not great. The taste of the fish is a little bit above average. not great! It is cosy, welcoming but service is not always attentive. As I've stated "Idi" is average yet recommended.

We had heard about this restaurant being the best fish restaurant in Israel from friends so when we found ourselves in Ashdod, we decided to have lunch here. I can't say if it is the best fish restaurant in Israel but I can definitely recommend...it very highly. The food was tasty and fresh and the portions were very large. The service was very good, too. We shared one restaurant-made humus, one large tomato salad and half of one of their baked breads. We could not finish the bread and took the other half home. We probably should have shared one main course but we did not. My husband ordered grilled sea bass and it was huge (1/4 to 1/2 larger than in most places. I ordered a half-portion of paella with seafood and could not finish it. I ordered a glass of wine and my husband ordered a zero cola. I had a coffee, too. We paid NIS 399 for the meal. Prices: our main dishes - NIS 135 each; the wine - NIS 25; the coffee - 16. My generally critical husband liked the food and service so much that he actually sought out the owner to compliment him. He peeked in the kitchen to check out their hygiene, too. The restaurant motif is nautical and pleasant. What else can I say?More

It's a very popular restaurant in the town. Like everything is little expensive however the food is great. They have all kinds of seafood and drinks which can be ordered. The service is decent. The location is premium with plenty of parking space. They maintain...nice and clean washrooms.More
