The restaurant is elegant with very modern design. Part of the restaurant has a sea view and it has very nice atmosphere. The buffet style has many very delicious good choices, local and international as well, including caviar!!! The most amazing thing is the service...managed by Adi - that's makes the big difference! Very recomended. Not to be missed. Would definitely come again soon.More
Went to this restaurant in the West Hotel in Ashdod with a party of eight and got to sample most of the menu. Service was good and friendly and the décor very nice. On the whole the food was very good with few exceptions that...I will mention later. For starters the endive salad, mushroom duet, tortolini were out of this world. The sabich - both of them were good but not in the league of the other three. The bread plate came with hot peppers, roasted garlic and a strange red paste. Bread was fresh and crusty but could have used something more for a spread. For the mains the salmon and entrecote steak were very good. The pargit sword was plentiful and was presented very nicely but the chef skewered hot peppers with the meat. If you are not one that likes their food spicy, the adjacent morsels were inedible. I had the Sloppy Joe and it was terrific. I noticed that the accompanying bun was covered with more of the mushroom duet we already had as a starter and this is a little strange for a chef restaurant. Probably some nice carmelized sautéed onions would have been more appropriate. My biggest beef is with the starter called ‘Lamb Schwarma’. I assume the meat was lamb but could not taste it, and it was not schwarma at all. Just a small piece of kebab in a pita, and it was basically a dry elongated meatball. I suspect that these were made well ahead of time and not prepared fresh for each guest. Also if I had known it was just a ground meat kebab I would not have ordered the Sloppy Joe as my main. We sampled the entire dessert menu - all four items and must say this is not their forte. The hot chocolate cake and the ice cream in cadiz was fine, but the ‘cookilida’ - ice cream sandwich has a problem. The ice cream was fine as were the cookies, they just don’t go together because the soft cookies don’t cut easily and when you try to cut in to the dish all the ice cream oozes out. The biggest dessert disappointment was the crème brule. It was just a thick stiff custard like substance - apparently not fresh. All in all the good items well outweighed the bad and I would recommend dining in this restaurant.More
Being a Vegan makes it hard at times for me to find what to eat. This place has an awesome buffet that made it easy for me and my 50 guests to eat delicious food. I stayed in the hotel for 10 days and got...to eat many times in the restaurant and it was consistently fresh and yummyMore
The endive restaurant is situated in West Hotel. It's very important to check that it's not a buffet night. They don't offer a large range of dishes, but definitely the meals are good and tasty. The presatation of the dishes are very nice. The service...is good. Nothing to complainMore
Very good restaurant with nice service ad tasty food Located in hotel near by the beach Easy to park easy to find
Very dissapointed. My familiy and i came with certain expectations... However, got a bad experience... Very little of variety, quality is quite average minus. Service could be better for 5 stars hotel. Bad experience in the botom line.
The restaurant is located in West hotel Ashdod near the see shore. In front off wednesday-baazar. It has a very extra-vagand dishes based on fish and or meat. And also expensive winnary. In sunny day you may take the dinner at the balcon and feel...the brize-wind from the sea.More
In for a quick business lunch with colleagues. Courteous service, interesting menu, and above all, delicious food accompanied by quality Israeli wine. Keep it up!
Staying at the hotel so gave it a shot. Definitely not hotel food. Very well prepared and tasty. Menu isn't the largest but has enough to find something for everyone. I will eat here again.
