Tucked away from the harbour is this unassuming little cafe. Once through the door, it's a bit like the Tardis(!)....more tables than you expected. Two of us had the Smoked Haddock Chowder and it was wonderful; one of the best I've had. The smoked bean chilli was also delicious. Outside decking with more seats provides a breezy pleasant place to... More

A lovely cafe with tasty food, good presentation and friendly service. My son had the smoked haddock chowder (which he liked) and I had the sausage and cheese toastie. Very tasty. I was tempted to try one of the cakes but as we were just about to start a walk, thought better of it. (I did buy a packet of... More

Very disappointing smoked haddock chowder. A large mound of potato and sweet corn in a thin soup of faintly fish flavoured milk. I found one inch square piece of fish. There appeared to be the tiniest of 'bits' of fish in the 'soup' much like the bits of orange flesh in non smooth orange juice. Overall the 'chowder' had very... More

One of us was disappointed there were no kippers left. The soup, the crab sandwiches and the coffees were excellent. Quick and friendly service.

Spotlessly clean little cafe with a light bright and airy decor, serving light snacks and breakfast (including a children's menu) and hot drinks. NOT EXPENSIVE. Vanilla cake is moist, very tasty and freshly baked and the other cakes looked equally tasty. Friendly, chatty staff work here and we enjoyed our stop-off and will definitely be back again for more.

This café really is a little gem, tucked away in Craster yet within sight of the sea. The premises are spick and span and very pleasant. Their is also an outside deating area.. The food is so tasty and beautifully served by extremely friendly staff. They welcome well behaved dogs so it's in an ideal place to visit on a... More

We visited late afternoon in early March, we found a table sat down decided what we wanted and went to order. First problem apparently the section where we had settled ourselves was closed so we had to move all our bags, cameras and jackets we had taken off when we arrived, there was no sign or anything to suggest that... Believe this is owned by the same people that run the Jolly Fisherman and what a contrast. Staff are friendly, great atmosphere with lovely cakes and coffee

Good little cafe have visited here several times over the past few years after doing the castle walk. Nice selection of cakes and hot drinks all resonably priced and good quality. Friendly and efficient service and we have been in when it is very busy and not so busy. Be aware there is a small charge to pay by card... More
